08-21-2024 ~ I made this pie crust, I've tried to make many pie crusts. This is the only one that worked for me! Came out nearly exactly like your video, and your video was so simple and to the point. Thank you! I don't think I'll be hesitant or afraid to make pie crusts anymore!

Linda had her surgery this morning. Sam called and said the doctor said everything went well with the cancer surgery and it didn't seem to have spread. They also removed her gallbladder while they had her opened up so they would not have to go back in. We are thanking God for answering our prayers. Linda, Sam and her family thanks everyone on her Hands That Cook page for their thoughts and prayers for Linda and Sam. Please continue to pray. Sam said he felt that the prayers were what got Linda through the surgery. Love and Thanks, Patty

I visited Linda at the hospital today. She has been there for around 2 1/2 weeks. They are getting her ready for surgery Monday to remove a small cancer in her stomach. They think that is where the bleeding is coming from. She enjoyed hearing about your well wishes and prayers. She is not using her computer yet but I hope she will be able to soon so she can respond to you herself. She was in good spirits but she and Sam and their little dog are ready for her to be home. Please remember her in prayer. Love, Patty

Sam called Yesterday and said Linda's transfer to the the other hospital and surgery will be postponed because her internal bleeding needs to be taken care of first. We are hoping this will happen soon and and life will be back to normal. She is in her local hospital waiting for her next step. She is on a liquid diet. Love and prayers for Sam and Linda and to all her Hands That Cook friends. She told Sam she is hoping she can get back to cooking soon and that she loves and misses you too. Patty

How do you store your pastry cloth and covered rolling pin? Do you ever LAUNDER these items? If so, how do you get all the wet flour out as it turns into paste when wet? I am just learning how to cook & bake. Thank you for any information.

People asked me if it was an onion casserole I am going to a picnic tomorrow evening and I'm preparing this the night before as you said Linda...so we can have this delicious cabbage casserole tomorrow. Thank you Linda I have only one thing to say about why you're doing this..... You should crush the crackers away from your mic!! Thanks for all of your recipes!! PS.. I noticed this time when I was watching you that you are using bowls like the ones my daughter just bought for me in the last 2 years. I did not have mine when I watched this the last time.
