I never comment on anyone's page but I had to on this video because for the FIRST time, this routine worked on my hair and the only product I changed was the hair milk. This was my first time trying it and I am overjoyed. When I was washing my hair last night in my mind I was wondering when would I have time to wash it out if it didn't work. I don't have to worry about it now....thank you so much for your step-by-step routine.

I like the crunch because of that reactivation. as well but if you don’t like it or if you want to try something new. Or you haven’t gotten past eco-styler leaving us. As I Am has a gel that doesn’t crunch and you can also re-activate it and it stays in my 4b 4c hair for a good 3 days

OMG! I have been fighting and pleading and crying even trying to bribe my hair to please work with me when I try wash and goes. I saw the video on what I could be doing wrong and then I saw this one. Praise God won't he do it?! I finally have a decent wash and go. I have to put my hair in about 12 sections and then do subsections out of those. Then I saw you finger curl the strains that don't really curl well, so I tried it and it worked. My hair even has movement! Thank You!

you answered a lot of questions that I had. I have short 3C low porosity hair. I did the big chop 6 years ago (I actually shaved my head). My hair is about 7 inches long now and I have struggled with a lot of breakage (not trimming quick enough). My hair is now even and healthy and I was looking for a good wash n go regimen. Most of the products you use, I have tried and they worked for me too. I wash twice per week too, it just works for me. I will keep working on the wash,n go technique, "shingling" and see how it turns out. Thanks! Very Helpful.

I'm just now starting to get wash and gos to work for my hair. Finally figuring my hair out after 3 years lol it was always twist outs and braid outs for me. The curl and style milk is great for me at first but my hair soaks it up so quick so I use the curl enhancing smoothie because it's thicker and lasts a bit longer.
@FinallyAmber7 жыл бұрын
My hair definitely soaks up the milk as well! But that's how I know it's actually penetrating my lo-po hair and not just sitting on top. The smoothie is just a little too thick for me unless I'm doing a twist out, and then it's bomb!

I wash my hair in the sink sometimes and I'm definitely not ashamed. It's easier than standing in the shower for 30+ minutes. Only downside is that your hair is detangled to the front of your head. I honestly don't know how so many ppl do this but wash n goes give me breakage.. they knot my hair up and gets it tangled n mats up like a synthetic wig...and makes my wash day even longer because I have to stretch the night before I wash just to not get as much breakage as I normally do. and I am a 3b Indian black girl and this happens... I use and test differentn products for it whether it's my favorite line (cantu), shea moisture..kinky curly or giovanni...I can never not get breakage and knots after a wash n go so all I do is braid outs. Please tell me if u have any tips because wash n goes are amazing and really bring out my curls but they're just way too damaging and I feel like this is a kept secret in the natural hair Commun-Tity (lol) Any tips would be greatly appreciated

Curly Maya same here no matter what I do. And it's such a beautiful and easy style. But the breakage are like bundles lol
@EtherealVibe7 жыл бұрын
Curly Maya Maybe you could try using a denman brush or comb to clump the curls together. Once you do that don't touch your hair at all. Once it's 100% dry then separate your hair from being clumped & the curls will still be there popping. Let me know if you've tried this method before.
@CutiePieZphi7 жыл бұрын
Curly Maya I used to say the same thing, until I broke down and started using a gel with a strong hold! Whenever I tried to do a conditioner only wash n go or use s styling product that wasn't gel it would look good for 5 min and then would be so dry and tangled it wasn't worth it! Think about it, the gel holds the hair in place, without it each individual strand can intertwine with each other and coil around itself causing single strand knots. The key to it is, starting with thoroughly detangled hair, a good moisturizer and a good gel. Hope that helps
