If he answers this question im interested to know how responsive the buttons are- if there was alot of trouble with delayed feedback given literally every function is interacted with via an ‘outside’ input. Particularly the inputs that ‘need’ to be pressed by an in-game cursor could have been a pain, or functions that give informational feedback in-game such as the fuel gauge (as he mentioned caused trouble) or laser guiding camera. Truly a feat of engineering.

Hey down unda brutha! I've been flying DCS with my simpit for quite some time now. I have several Bodnar cards...6 to be close to exact. Do you experience any issues with DCS forgetting the switch position in your pit and getting out of sync with the real life switch compared to the in game switch....let me elaborate. Position light switch in A-10...switched forward to flash(or steady but you get what i mean)....after an unknown time when the switch is moved to the center position, DCS does not react and the lights stay on. When the switch is moved back to the forward position the light turns off. Does this sound familiar to you?

I think it is the best cockpit ever. As you put so many hours over 10 years into it, is there some sort of fire suppression system with CO2? Maybe an Oxygen mask, just in case? I thought of it when you pointed at the Engine/APU fire handles. There is a lot of electronics and acryl, you know. Love your videos. A10 is a phantastic machine!
@thewarthogproject2 жыл бұрын
Lol no Halon supression system, but there is a fire extinguiser on the wall in the room. Its also only ever plugged in when im using it. I forgot to point out that there is a emergency shut off switch near my right knee that kills all power. I've had one close call when i wired a panel wrong and shorted it, as soon as i truned the switch I saw blue smoke, hit the shut off and all was well.

I have followed your videos and have ordered and set up my setup over that last few weeks with your videos as a guide and they have help tremendously. I have the projectors and a mst hub set to my machine and have extended and surrounded with nvidia. All went well. My last task is to build the 270 screen. Im building this for my father who loves to fly and i thought it would be a cool gift to have his own in-house sim. My question to you sir is..... The screens width, how much room does it actually take up? From corner to corner how wide is it? And do you recommend the size you built or in hindsight would you have changed it in anyway and why?
@thewarthogproject2 жыл бұрын
Hi mate. The size of it was based solely on the size of the room I had for it. If I had a larger space I would have made it a bit larger, so I could have more vertical height in the surface. So lets say you are just doing a pit for VR, all you will need is the Leo Bodnar cards? I have Leo Bodnar BU0836X 12-Bit Joystick Board. 8 analog inputs with 12-bit (4096 steps) resolution each, 32 button / 16 rotary encoder inputs, and 8-way "point-of-view" hat switch input. Would that work?
