I recommend Stamina x for an adjustment bench/step etc…i love mine, had it for at least 6 years now. I have to workout in my kitchen…thats been my home gym for about 8 years since my job changed and work and hour away from my gym. Gave up my membership and never looked back. I AM a personal trainer who specializes in the home workout so thats a benefit! I use kettlebells, bands, slamballs, jumprope, steel clubs, powerblocks(love them), bosu, and various other things. There is no excuse for no space. Ive shown clients that they can get a great workout in a 6x6foot space if necessary. I work out outside when the weather is nicer. (Im 61 now.. best shape ever)

Knowledge of great calisthenic and body weight exercises has helped me a lot. You can do them anytime anywhere. There are good videos on these. One example: graduated pushups and pushup variations (e.g. inclined, one-legged alternating, weighted, dive bomber). Also jump squats and variations on lunges. Also, circuits that work a variety muscle groups and get your heart rate up, to include the cardio. There are some really good ab workout videos by Michael Eckert. I especially like the "8 Minute Ab Workout" and the burn it generates. I just follow along with the video itself as a timer, template and motivator. You really feel like you've done something effective, working your abs like never before. It's a good feeling.

I absolutely love my NordicTrack IFIT commercial treadmill with a 22" screen. I can walk, jog, hike or run, or a combo of sorts. It goes uphill and downhill in conjunction with whatever challenge you pick. You get an online trainer and programs that take you all over the world. Makes it not so boring which is a big plus for me because I use it for 6 to 10 miles just about everyday. The IFIT trainer program does cost $10 a month but that is unlimited use.

This is great! Thanks! Curious about TRX: you didn't mention it in this video. How often do you use TRX (if at all)? Thanks again!

Thank you for your video. What are your thoughts about the Tonal? I used to workout regularly in the gym with a trainer. I stopped about 3-4 years ago. I want to create a home gym. I am thinking about getting the Tonal and an Echelon Connect bike or a Nordictrack bike and a Fusion CST Studio. Any thoughts?

Great Video, I’m in Canada and our gyms are closed again ☹️ I’m looking at purchasing a multi functional trainer. I’m stuck between the inspire F1 or F2, the F1 is more compact and affordable but I love that the F2 has a smith machine but it’s a lot more money. Do you have any thoughts on which would be best for a home gym? Thanks

Thanks for sharing. My bench is adjustable too but it feels so wobbly. I may have to put weights on the bases soon or get a different one.
