Her children will never inherit this house nor land because it’s a lease land meaning you will never be the owner even if the owner requested you to have , because Ghana constitution does not allow us to own any land in Ghana we can only lease it

When pouring concrete into columns, do not make the concrete too liquid and use a vibrator! The more water in the concrete, the lower the quality, use a vibrator!

Very nice. Where are you building? What was a rough estimate on the foundation cost please?
@thelhway4841Ай бұрын
@@christinemcdonald1943Hello, I'm building in the Lion of Judah Estate Agyendam near Asebu Pan African Village central region of Ghana. And for the foundation between 120k- 220k cedis for cement, steel, blocks, stone, sand, quarry dust, damp proofing which was not cheap but necessary, plumbing and other miscellaneous materials, wood, gas to run the generator to supply the water, rental of the cement machine, transportation to deliver materials and equipments and labor cost. Hope this sums it up for you in many sense. I didn't skip on quality products for my home

Iam thinking of buyy a house is it cheaper to build r buy
@thelhway484113 күн бұрын
@@donnettethompson8636 Hi thanks for the question, when it comes on to buying an already built home here in Ghana and I hope you won't get offended or any one else, all I have to say is I WOULDN'T/ I WOULD NOT BUY one and my reasons being is some blocks are made by hand which is the worst thing ever, most people are still not incorporating damp proofing at all in the construction, the septic system setup here in Ghana is a hit or miss and it is mostly misses because your house will be smelling like SHIT AND GAS from the septic setup, sorry for being straight forward, because I can see the lack of experience and knowledge in the septic setup here, alot of problems about leaks from the roof especially the hidden ones, don't let me even start on the windows here very poor quality and not up to standards, the lizards will live rent free, poop and show up like an unwanted guest.Tust and believe the house will be looking good but behind those walls might be your worst nightmare. So these are some of the problems I have come across with from seeing here. There are good contractors here don't get me wrong but if you have to buy already built just hire a good inspector and even that they know how to really fake being one because they themselves don't know proper built and standards and once they collect that money and you problems you are left alone to fix the mess. I can go on and on about alot of stuff but for me I WOULD BUILD MY OWN HOME. Hope this helps. Good luck and thanks for watching.
