My home setup with a Tascam DP-32SD multitrack recorder. Tools of the bass player…..

Just a quickie of how I’m hearing myself at home with multiple devices. The tascam multitrack is great for plugging everything into it. Plus if and when I want to record something, it is already set up and starts with the push of a button without having to waste time trying to run into a DAW. #bass #effectspedals #zoompedals #ibanezbass #tascam #multitrackrecording

Well……I upgraded….substantially. That video will probably come in the next couple weeks. But thank you very much. I have been happy with that setup for some time. It just works great for my situation.

When you have Tascam DP-32SD, you don't need any other soundcard, right? I usually record midis playing midi keyboard. Can I assign these 32 channels to Cubase's mixer?

The tascam does not work as an interface. It is a stand alone unit that records to an SD card. You can however record to the unit, and transfer the tracks into your DAW. But not in real time as 32 individual tracks.

I love it. I use it as a pedalboard with an amp, and I also use it occasionally by itself ampless direct into the PA. It’s a great investment in my mind.

It’s a Rolls 4 channel. It’s got 20 years on it and still works good.
