My Homestay in the Mountains | Workation & Stay after Lockdown | Tirthan Valley Vlogs - EP 02

You will find most of the details of my home stay in the mountains after lockdown got lifted in September. I was working from Tirthan Valley, Himachal Pradesh for a month, staying with my friend.
This is the second episode in my Work From Mountains series from Tirthan Valley. After my first video on Gushaini village and how to reach Tirthan Valley from from Delhi, the second part focuses on the homestay where I am staying for my workation and how I spend my time here.

woh guyz awesome shots and great work!! need to ask you something if you can help please, what about the internet network in the homestay? as i will be planning for about 20 days so need to make sure about the connectivity for work! and like on weekends what else we can cover apart from gushaini? is there any option to hire a bike or 2 wheeler so that we can move around?

Hi Abhay, the internet speed is quite good at the Homestay and you will be able to work from there. And on weekend trips, you can check other videos in this series as I did some weekend trips too.

Hey Abhishek, the Internet speed is pretty good here. I had both Airtel and Jio and they were both really fast. A good network connection paired with a hotspot device should be good!

Hey, the internet is pretty good here. With a speed of over 35MBps for both airtel and Jio, you can join meetings over zoom/Hangouts.

Hey Basant, the view from this place is of a confluence of 2 rivers. Hardly 10 min walk down from this place. It’s close enough to walk and reach and far enough for the river sound to not disturb on video calls.

Hey Gurkirpal, It’s an entire series so details are spread across videos. :) The speed test showed around 30-35 Mbps for Airtel and Jio networks. Enough for meetings and video calls. No power back ups at the property but there were less power cuts during the month we stayed there.

Hey Rushikesh, So it depends on the duration you want to stay for. If you stay for a month it's around 1600per night, for 14 days it's around 2000per night.

Hi Sudip Sir, the internet is quite good here! We stayed here for a month and worked from here. That included attending meetings over zoom/meet. Any hotspot device with Airtel or Jio network should be good!
