I can agree. I love mine. I bagged mine out and put some Torqmasters on it. My only gripe is the seat is crap for long distance but a good remedy is a sheepskin. But the bike is flickable and VERY quick or its weight. I know mine is a keeper.

The Valk was a blast. But I was lured away by the FJR. Plus, I change bikes like most people change clothes. The FJR seat isn't much better than the Valkyrie but the power windshield, heated grips, cruise control, electronic suspension, 140 horsepower... for me, definitely worth a try!

Ah! The video for which I have been waiting! I think this is YOUR bike. Were I to swap bikes from my CTX at this point, I'd be looking at this bike's latest iteration, the 2020 stripped down Gold Wing DCT. I love the look - can't understand why others might not find it attractive. Isn't it nice to know you can blow away almost everything else on the road? I could feel the adrenaline pumping through your veins at 6:50. I know you were quite busy last night, unpacking, polishing, accessorizing and storing it. Would have liked a full walk around with discussion points on the features. It actually sounds like a CTX with that sewing machine sound. Does it too have straight gearing? Congratulations on an excellent purchase. May you have many years of happy, safe riding on her! P.S. I had to look at the video again just to take it in. It's gorgeous. Just gorgeous. You really need to do one just walking around it so we can fully take it in. I think I want one now.

Thank you! And good suggestion. My son was saying the same. I will certainly be doing more videos on this bike, getting more into the details as I learn.

Please tell me what windshield and bags those are, I have a 2014 and want both those for mine
@QuentinsMotoVlog3 жыл бұрын
Both the bags and the windshield are genuine Honda accessories for the 2014-15 Valkyrie. They came with the bike as I was the second owner. I imagine you can find them on Honda’s website or eBay. Good luck!

Cool! Thanks! I was out on the 2015 Valk today and it just amazes me every time I twist the throttle.

Thanks for sharing. I've always wanted a Valkrie and my VTX 1800 is getting a little crispy. Maybe you can answer one question that I'm afraid of the answer of-How do you think it would feel for a 6'6 tall guy? Would the clutch and rear brake be in kind of a tight spot and require a lot of leg bending to reach?
@QuentinsMotoVlog3 жыл бұрын
So, tough to answer, because I sold the Valk and bought a Yamaha FJR--I can't get on the bike now and consider your specific question. I don't think it would be a problem but I can't be sure. I am 5'9" with a 30" pants inseam. I had plenty of room on the bike--wasn't too stretched out or cramped in any way. It is a big bike so chances are it would be fine for you, but that's the best answer I can provide. Good luck!

What mirrors are those the stock ones look good but are not very adjustable (at least not easily) What do you think of the mirrors you have
@QuentinsMotoVlog4 жыл бұрын
The only problem I had with the stock mirrors is they were too close to the handlebars to allow my throttle lock to work. I think these are the inexpensive replacements I bought. They work well, but I think the stock mirrors were nicer looking: www.amazon.com/gp/product/B06Y2RH6WG/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1

The Valkyrie is a great muscle bike, and yes, it will make a great tourer. Should have bought one years ago!

Great bike, love mine.

Thanks bud. The Valkyrie is an amazing muscle bike. I did just sell it to a deserving buyer and I bought a 2015 Yamaha FJR 1300ES to replace it. I need to go on a long journey or two while I still can and the FJR is the bike for that job.

Just wish they kept making them, 6 spd and abs would be nice
@QuentinsMotoVlog Жыл бұрын
Yeah, it is a cool bike. I guess that’s what the standard Goldwing is supposed to cover now, but not the same thing.
@robertparisi8016 Жыл бұрын
@@QuentinsMotoVlog way different! Much higher seat height, different riding position, always felt the valkyrie and f6b sat better, felt like u were in the motorcycle not on top of it, handlebars on the non touring are way to low, needs heli bars, leave it to Honda, when you have something good change it. Lol

I’d say we have similar taste in bikes. How did this compare to the Vulcan 2000?
@QuentinsMotoVlog4 жыл бұрын
Donnie Moore I like this much more. The Valkyrie is a LOT more bike. And I just don’t need a Harley clone with technology essentially from early last century!

What phone holder are you using?
@QuentinsMotoVlog3 жыл бұрын
Sorry for late reply. I have a different phone holder on each of my motorcycles and both are actually inexpensive, adjustable holders my wife bought for her bicycles on Amazon. Both work fine. As long as the phone holder claims to be compatible with your phone, and it has an adjustable strap to grip the handlebar, I find that they all work perfectly well--no need to spend a lot of money.
