Well thank you! Only top NITS are best for placements go for top 10 NITS. NIRF rankings plays a big role. For placements you can check on college pravesh for detailed review. It goes like this.... If someone is admitted in top 10 NIT then mostly every branch is good and will fetch good placement. But as we go below then go for Circuit branches like CSE, ECE. As Abhishek replied, that is the best strategy. Along with that, I would suggest also consider some of the IIITs as well, some are as good as new NITs and you they have only CS, Electronics branches only and are with decent placements too. Even in reputed NITs, outside of circuital branches, students struggle for placements and have to learn coding etc., besides their curricula pressure to get placed with 10L+ package.
