My wife and I have been cruising in the MSC Yacht Club since 2016 after our kids grew up and we left Disney. And we never left; it is a fantastic cruising experience and we always try to get two in each year.

we ended up winning a upgrade bid on our very first msc cruise on the seaside, our experience was much like yours, and i dont think I could get on a msc ship without the yacht club. the food was outstanding, the butler was fantastic. I wake up at home some mornings whishing I could go up to the pool bar and get a perfectly made to order burger with one of their custom aromatic cocktails. and as far as say yacht club vs haven while ncl is my favorite line I think msc wins the ship within a ship race

This was a really good video. I really liked the luxury and think this video will be good promotion for MSC. The videography was perfect. I am not sure I would want a butler unpacking my luggage (like underwear and slinky stuff), but the rest of it looked quite fabulous.

My 93 year young mom takes me on 1 or 2 cruises per year on Celebrity. I love the line and have always enjoyed my cruises. I always thought MSC was a crappy cruise line but boy have you changed my perception. I would live to try out the yacht club! Looks amazing!!! Btw, every time that you say "My wife" I just love the sound of it. I have loved you forever and fell in love with Lauren on the way. I am so happy for the two of you. Just so everyone knows - we have taken three Yacht Club cruises, and never, EVER, has the Butler offered to pack or unpack. We definitely did not ask, nor expect this - but so many KZbin reviewers keep saying this as a perk - and I want to set expectations that the Butlers are very attentive, very kind - but very busy and the pack/unpack service might be more of a treat for KZbin reviewers and not really something that occurs for us ‘normal’ YachtClub peeps. …still an AMAZING experience - Just helping set realistic expectations

Of course they get the red carpet treatment because I am pretty certain that the staff knows very darn well that they are doing video reviews on their ships. I'm guessing management really advises them to be offering the best top-not service all around. I find it hilarious that his title in this video is his honest review. It should be his review bought and paid for by MSC. That's the reality

@@AngieRTaylor I am a normal Yacht Club peep and not a KZbinr. We have been in the yacht club numerous times. This is a very honest review and mirrors my experience. As far as the unpacking service it is a perk. It is clearly stated and all you have to do is ask if it is not offered by the butler. Just setting realistic expectations.

The other benefit to the YC is it has interior cabins on most of their ships, and is a very affordable way to get in. Have done YC six times and mostly in these cabins. And if you book a normal MSC balcony, you can bid to get an upgrade to the YC (which we have done three times). INCREDIBLE value.

Hey J. Been waiting for this review as I’ve heard only great things re:yacht club. Lovely stateroom suite. Beautiful lounge and pool deck with bar & grill. Oh they had a yacht club area on their private island. Very nice. Nice you could stay in the yacht club areas or frolic throughout the ship. Thanks for sharing your experience. Positive as expected.

My wife and I have about 25 cruises under our belts and we began part-time sailing with MSC about 6 years ago. Like most reviews, MSC food is kinda' meh, but we love the ships, Ocean Cay, and overall value. Have been curious about the Yacht Club for some time now and am anxious to give it a whirl. Thank you for the discount code and another good video. NCL left me no choice but to look for an alternative to the NCL Haven after my experience on the EPIC 11/2-11/9. Looking forward to trying the Yacht Club! MSC's status match is super quick and I got the approval in about an hour. Although no one probably cares - my wife speaks/understands Tagalog, and NCL Haven employees were openly talking shit about Haven guests in Filipino right in front of them with smiles on their faces. I can't justify the cost of the Haven if this is how they treat guests (I did agree with what my wife said the employees were saying - but that's besides the point). No response from NCL on board or after - they simply don't care.

Was very blessed to be able to take a 7-Day Mediterranean Cruise in the fall of 2021 in a yacht club inside cabin. Really a great International crowd and fantastic conversations with people I would normally never meet. Because it was one of the first cruises after covid there were not a lot of people on board but the experience in the yacht club was over the top. I will never see the pricing like that again and unfortunately as a solo cruiser I can no longer afford to be in the yacht club.

This sounds alot like The Star Class on Royal Caribbean which my wife and I did a few years back. Differences: we had a Genie instead of a Butler and I don’t believe we had an independent pool area and definitely not the elevator situation, but everything else was pretty similar. We also had an up and downstairs suite. Thanks for sharing this. After seeing this video we definitely want to cruise on MSCs Yacht Club. We weren’t ready to get off of ours either, but we had to turn into pumpkins as soon as we stepped off of the ship😂

I am about to do MSC for the first time in January on the Meraviglia in the Yacht Club. But WOW!!!....the Seashore Yacht Club looks so much better. And why shouldn't it. It's much newer. Especially the pool area. From the videos online, the Meraviglia Yacht Club pool area is sooo much smaller than this one. I'm looking forward to my cruise in Jan but you have made me really want to find a MSC Seashore cruise to book now. I cruise the Haven on NCL frequently, so I am really looking forward to seeing how it compares. Great video. Thanks again.

My very first cruise ever was in 2018 on Seaside in gen pop. Everyone was saying how awful they were but I had an amazing time and enjoyed the food. My second time on MSC was in Yacht Club and I have gone back to several times always in yacht club because there is nothing else like it. I’ve done retreat (which cost me double what yacht club cost) and it was just ok. I’ve done Haven (which almost cost 3 times as much as yacht club) and again, it’s ok. I like my yacht club experience so much I’ve booked with Explora Journeys and I can’t wait.

I did the Yacht Club on Meraviglia two weeks ago and, like you, was blown away by the experience. The one thing which never worked on that ship was the "express" elevator service. It became sort of a running joke among those of us in the YC on my sailing. But otherwise, everything was so incredible that I just booked the same ship (right down to the itinerary and stateroom) for 43 days from now.

figured out the elevator on the last day of a 7 day cruise. You need to be standing near the elevator indicated. No light comes on, no "ding" on arrival. The door just opens, so you have to be ready to get on

Emma Cruises tried it as well. One thing Jay made his reservations at the exclusive Concierge. He did not have to. His butler could do it for him. Any food on board can pretty much be ordered as room service. If you see it around at a club, bar, cafe, etc ask and it can be delivered. Really will ruin a person. lol.

Stayed on the seaside yacht club best experience ever. I have 3 cruises booked for the upcoming year all on msc with their yacht club. If you want to have a great experience and not have to worry about literally anything this is the experience for you.

Ah! I had Francis when I was onboard. Him and the steward (whose name escapes me at the moment) were an awesome Butler/Steward combo. I loved my time in Yacht Club. I already have two Yacht Club sailings booked. I don't think I'll even go MSC w/o YC!

That's funny! Anybody can enjoy the MSC yacht Club. Correction, that's only if you have the extra money to pay for the experience which is typically at least two times to three times the amount of a normal cruise

One point to consider; MSC may honor loyalty programs on other lines, we are Platinum on NCL and MSC granted us Gold. May not work with every line and/or level, but it may be worth checking out.

I stayed on Msc back on Nov 2023 and again in Nov 2024 and I have noticed a lot of improvements the food is a big improvement, the entertainment was better just more American style of cruiseing

Boarding as a Yacht Club guest is AMAZING!! Kinda made me feel guilty passing by all the other people. Unfortunately, our butler wasn't as good as yours, but I didn't really care about that. How bout those burgers and pizza!? Best I've ever had. Disembarkation wasn't has efficient as embarkation. Yacht club luggage was hard to find in the luggage area.
