George, im a talker just like you! So i get it. I have to work on it too. We are passionate individuals with lots of thoughts. We have to learn to slow down and listen, tho and not just fake listen. Really listen. I say this with love, because i saw another comment saying something- but they were being quite judgemental. Just because I don't see anyone else talking about it, hunting is a way of life where I live, and every time I take an animal I pause and thank God that I'm allowed the opportunity to do this in a safe way, to source my own food and clean it and butcher it and provide for my family. I agree that hunting for sport alone is unnecessary, and I believe that animal management is a very important topic, especially considering the number of animals I see dead in ditches around here. That's a much worse fate than being shot and expiring in minutes and little to no pain vs having their bodies broken and waiting in the ditch or woods to die for hours. Just my two cents. My opinion is that it was great entertainment. Tyson was able to relive HIS sport, something he dominates, drive a crowd, and get PAID. Jake won with respect. Jake was damned if he won or lost. It drove people to WATCH, in the end the both got paid and we got to see a LEGEND last until the very end.

I love the way that the Holy Spirit uses these videos to keep myself in check, midway through when they discuss their favorite episodes, I suddenly begain to feel a strange jealousy and sadness begin to creep on me, right as I become aware of it, they mention that it's in our nature to feel jealous of our friends (hit harder for me since I've never directly met anyone on the show while seeing them that way) and George mentions that it's really hard to find people who truly want the best for you, you should remain to be blessed with even the little things like this show appearing in my KZbin feed, it motivates me to make a name for myself like George did, so that I'll then be in a position to speak with him hopefully and express that as someone not so long ago thought it impossible to change, like george when he started he had good faith but still has room for improvement. Hey George as a hunter I thank you that respect ethical hunting for food. And the thing about hunting is that we aren’t fighting nature when we are doing it we are going out into nature and if the lord allows us to harvest one of his creatures it happens. Unfortunately people have given hunters a bad name by hunting to just kill. Instead what I do is to do everything I can to respect that animal with the life it gave (clothes, food, ex.). I wish that others would be better educated on what it means to put food on the table and how ethical hunting is done. God bless brother good podcast!
