I am a formulator and chiiiile, those are completely different formulations. Don't take their word for it (since the industry is pretty much unregulated). Also, since you have sensitive skin and are ingredient conscious, I would suggest that you cross reference your ingredients against EWG (Environmental Working Group) for more information about irritably, toxicity, safety, etc. Keep it up!

I had a very itchy sore scalp and I went to see trichologists last year. It was expensive but I saved up the money because the unhealthy scalp was affecting my mental health. They told me not to put any butter, oil or edge control on my scalp. I haven't oiled/greased my scalp in over a year. Now it only starts a mild itch just before wash day. So it would itch Thursday if my wash day was Friday. If I swim every day, it doesn't itch at all. I hope you had advice on your alopecia from a black dermatologist/trichologist. My clinic is run by a black mother-daughter duo. They have very simple hair styles like French rolls and French braids. One has natural hair and one has relaxed hair. They are also registered as Trichologists which is more helpful as dermatologists know about scalp but not hair and cosmetologists study more hair styling but not hair and scalp conditions. I learned a lot from them about products (they do not need more than 10 ingredients), how often to shampoo, how often to moisturise and what styles are least damaging and not to put oils and butters on your scalp.

To add on about the diazolidinyl urea and dmdm hydantoin, those two ingredients (especially diazolidinyl urea) are known to cause dandruff flare ups in people who experience seborrheic dermatitis and/or eczema. I have eczema and used a shampoo with diazolidinyl urea a few years ago and my scalp turned white! It was completely covered with dandruff flakes. So nowadays, I avoid any products that use those ingredients just to be safe since it's easy for my scalp to flare up. I've even found diazolidinyl urea in anti-dandruff shampoos 😒 Thanks for alerting us about those two ingredients Faye! This definitely isn't a product for me.

I bought the reconstructing package a while ago. The shampoo and conditioner made my hair greasy and stringy which is not good for my fine hair. The miracle drops actually work for me but I did have to mix jojoba oil because it is very intense. It helped my hair grow but that shampoo and conditioner is a no for me.

I messed around and put peppermint oil on my scalp... because I heard it would stimulate growth. 😑 umm... anyway, yes, if you have skin sensitivity do NOT put essential oils on your scalp without it being diluted😭 my scalp felt like it was on fire!!! Tea tree oil makes my scalp itch, even if it’s in shampoo🤷🏽‍♀️I also can’t put any oils on my face... I break out and burn. Essential oils can do amazing things, but definitely good to test small sections of skin and research as well. Another great video!

Even essential oils in carrier oils messed up my scalp so now I use no oils on my scalp ever. To use up all my oils, I use them as pre-poo for my hair ends for 30 minutes and then shampoo out. No more oils sitting on my scalp. I have not oiled my scalp in over a hair. Sad but I'd rather have a healthy scalp than experimentation.

I feel you on the drops. That's why I recently asked you which formula you received. I had read so many mixed reviews and read about some online companies selling fake formula I became really sceptical. I also read the ingredients and they did not seem to have a carrier oil I thought that's probably why people are having issues with using. I've use straight tea tree oil and peppermint oil without a carrier oil and never had any issues. I know my skin is sensitive so I don’t use it. Other people use it and they’re fine. Do a Patch test first!

Went hair supply shopping with my older sister. She picked up all the products for the whole line and I yelled at her to put it back. The owner is VERY shady. I wouldn't mess with the line at ALL! and this is coming from someone who experiments with EVERYTHING!

Thank you Faye for these videos because I trust your reviews. They are always very honest. I just bought the miracle drops last week before watching the reviews and started using it and thankfully nothing bad has happened but I be adding to it now that I’ve watched this and I will see what happens from there. I’ll pass on the other products tho
