Great Points! One of my biggest complains is the healing system. It's very bad as you pointed out. It's so important that they are fixing this, hopefully they will... Cooking is also not as good as it could be, the fact that you can just take one food item which adds yellow hearts and instantly get a full heal is ridiculous. Makes all the other creations useless. And we need a recipe book in the sequel!

I agree with your idea of a large enemy circling the map looking for you, I think it would make exploring the world a lot more exciting especially if you are not able to kill it until the endgame!

" if you are not able to kill it until the endgame!" i am now imagining Calamity Ganon having been roaming hyrule for all that time, and when you enter the final boss room there's something.... a bell, the triforce, Link being seconds from freeing Zelda, something. and we see in a cinematic the Calamity's head just snapping around like a horror movie villains to stare at Hyrule Castle as it finally senses you and just comes charging you down for the final fight. that'd be awesome

Cool video. Personally, the biggest thing I want changed is the durability system. Ideally, I'd want durability removed outright but I'll settle a traditional setup with blacksmiths who can provide easy repairs with rupee sinks as well as upgrade options with the right resources. Whatever path they take, make the Master Sword usable whenever the player wants and incentivize use of other weapons by the enemy design. For example, have enemies where reach may be a bigger issue to incentivize spear combat, enemies that require you to break their footing with a heavy weapon, enemies that are substantially faster and require a weapon that may be lighter. There's all sorts of factors that can make other weapons as prized in certain combat situations. This would also allow players to specialize with a fair disadvantage as opposed to simply removing weapons and preventing specialization.
