Great tips as usual! We have school age children so Wolflodge is fun to stay. However, booking through HGVC seems cost more. I would book directly from Wolflodge and use my HGVC for the other location offers better point value .

That was what it looked like to me. Thanks for confirming. Hgv needs to work on this.

Thank you very much. I want everyone to have more joy in their timeshare experiences.

HGV sees HGV Max as their future. I wouldn't expect them to invest a lot of time and money into something that is a legacy product.

I am hoping they will incorporate it into their future hgvmax as some havesaid

"For $10,000, it might be wonderful but I don't know..." Ha, you could rent two 3--bedrooms or three 2-bedrooms for far less. What we need is a timeshare video for polygamists, sorting out how many sister wives go on vacation, if some will pair up because they're close, and how many kids coming along. They might need that 6-bedroom after all.

Funny. The high cost units have kept me away from destination exchange. I’d like to know who uses it given the high cost. I bet I could do better elsewhere and I want the program to be more valuable.

@timesharetraveler Was DRI a part of RCI before the acquisition? If so, I am not sure the point of this. According to the head of TUG, BG is executing right of first refusal on many resale deals, as a side note. Probably a good sign for improved value.

I don’t think dri was part of RCI. The current website doesn’t show a link. I only became a DRI member after hgv’s purchase so not 100% sure.

@@timesharetraveler I'm sure DRI had its sweet spots such as your Hawaiian contract, or with the right status, but not the greatest program in general. An expensive exchange does owners no good. This mass consolidation in the timeshare industry is a good thing, and will perhaps build a better reputation with happier owners.
