truly a best collection i did turn back to VHS 2013-2016 but as i see in picture quality some movies were grainy and some just right in picture so i chose back in DVDS, the quality of a picture i was seeing more,

Here’s a little known fact about Scream on VHS. The copy you have with the black cover with the ensemble picture on the front is the theatrical version, which is the same version as every single DVD and blu-ray release thus far. But there were some alternate releases of Scream on VHS. The alternates consisted of 3 different blue colored covers, each one with a different face on the front (the variants were Neve Campbell, Courtney Cox, and Drew Barrymore). The special thing about the blue cover variants, however, was that due to an apparent production error, the version of the movie included on those tapes is the unrated director’s cut! That version was only ever supposed to be released on laserdisc (up until now, anyway, but I always have hope that one day they’ll get their asses off their shoulders and put it out on a collector’s edition 4K or blu-ray). There are several noticeable differences, such as Steve’s guts graphically tumbling out at the beginning, the zoom in on Casey’s hanging body being slowed down considerably (instead of sped up in the theatrical version), and Tatum’s head getting graphically crushed for longer in her death scene, as well as some alternate dialogue and editing throughout the movie. It’s definitely an interesting one to have in the collection, and to this day most people I come across don’t realize that’s actually the director’s cut. P.S. Psycho II and III are definitely both better than they get credit for. They weren’t appreciated in their day. P.P.S. If you want to keep that Freddy’s Nightmares tape sealed, there’s another way to watch it. The entire Freddy’s Nightmares series is streaming for free on Tubi.

@@horrorandmorror ​Oh no! I just scrolled past it on Tubi because I was going to put on The Lost Boys for my 2 year old, and Freddy’s Nightmares has a notice up that it’s leaving in 8 days. Tomorrow I may just start marathoning it one more time. If you want to see it, I’d suggest doing it SOON. I suppose it could eventually pop up on another streaming service, but the rights holders are forever being assholes about giving it a home video release, so who knows when that might happen? Your guess is as good as mine as to when or if we’ll be able to see it in high quality again.

Awesome collection and I enjoyed the video! Agree with you about HALLOWEEN III being a great film (it's second behind the original for me). PSYCHO III is excellent, it's the only PSYCHO sequel that is worthy of the original. Love that FREDDY'S NIGHTMARES VHS! That series is under rated with a lot of good episodes between the 2 seasons. It's an anthology series, like THE TWILIGHT ZONE, but some episodes contribute to the NIGHTMARE mythos. I haven't seen BLEEDERS but that is a cool design (very creative). THE WOLF MAN is one of the greatest horror films of all time. George Waggner, the director, does a phenomenal job creating atmosphere in the film. It was made in 1941 but, honestly, the film moves at a brisk pace. Lon Chaney Jr, who plays the Wolf Man, does a fantastic job with such a tragic character. He's so awkward and tortured from beginning to end. HELLBOUND: HELLRAISER II is an interesting sequel. Not nearly as good as the original but the special effects are decent. It also expands on the themes of the first one in a logical way. CAPE FEAR and THE FOG are also two excellent films and well worth watching.
