Yes, probably. It was licensed by FEI (Fédération Equestre Internationale), and maybe the license deal expired. Also the game has some notorious Anti-Piracy Security.

Ashtyn Lands I had it for a while, it's an old game, and kinda hard to find. It's also available for Wii and even XBOX 360. An there also are some Nintendo DS simpler version.
