Mehul, your video on the future of AI agents is insightful! I particularly agree with your point about the limitations of current models - the constrained context windows and the lack of sufficient intelligence being the primary roadblocks. Your analysis of how overcoming these limitations could render many current agent-based systems obsolete is compelling. I'd be interested to hear your thoughts on the potential implications for the development of truly general-purpose AI, and what breakthroughs might be necessary to achieve that.

At this point, I think anyone who's using these AIs regularly would definitely be able to differentiate between human vs ai written texts
@MonishMishra-xr2lc6 күн бұрын
Makes sense, I completely got your point But the thing comes what "future" exactly means here, I think in the near future it is relevant, but in long term these businesses may have to change themselves as you said Also for context, there's a YC backed company known as copycat which is taking video of processes and automating it, pretty cool stuff tbh, maybe they're also sending screenshots to the foundational model but it is something that you can look into

We use Gemini for video processing that involves audio and it generates very accurate transcripts.

AI wrapper companies are different from AI providers like Deepseek or OpenAI. It's well known AI wrapper are will go redundant when the underlying models become smarter.

Google is also betting on larger context models since the start so i think they will have many advantages going forward
@Sandeep-zd6dq6 күн бұрын
Well limited context window is definitely a blocker but I guess having infinite context window will also lead to a lot of disturbance because whenever I use gpt sometime it goes out of the actual question context (btw that’s not due to bad prompt probably that’s because sometime I allow it to digress to learn more) and in those cases, ultimately I have to end up starting a new thread/context for any new or even the same technical query since it’s really hard for these models to backtrack to a point where we diverted from the actual question.
@ayushKumar-98356 күн бұрын
I think there are two blockers right now, first is that we cannot run a super good intelegent model on a normal personal system (hardware limitations), 2nd is running on cloud with infinite memory is very cost heavy but definitely possible for the large giant tech companies on the personal level and they must be doing it without releasing it in the market.

Coming of AGI means everyone will lose their jobs. Because this means we have someone more intelligent that human being for all kinds of problems. Every company who is working on Ai field or not will be in danger.

I kinda get your point, But (tell me if I put wrong anology) Now that AI is starting to replace customer service on text and even calls. 20 years backs even if you had forseen that machine aur AI could do the task still you would hire employees for the call service. Similary even though AI agents won't be needed to such an extent in future but in immediate future it will still be prevelant. Like if you can't buy ac you buy cooler if not that you makeshift one with fan and wet towel in enough heat. Call it a jugaad, innovation or just human tendency.

"AI is starting to replace customer service"- Yeah no Almost all the support where I had to deal with AI chatbots/agents the experience was shit. I had to ask a human to come and resolve my issues. some companies dont even allow the option to talk to human, making it super frustrating In some cases like the groww app the agent tells you options which don't even exist in the app(making things up) Any company that actually cares about its customers wont be eliminating humans from the equation
@XoXoHarsh6 күн бұрын
@@swagathshetty Thanks for informing me, the company I was interning and a few friends as well they were working on something like that. Thanks for reality check, though I do believe that customer service gonna get better using AI (maybe because the demo I have seen was very good).

I believe that using the current method to build llm it's not possible. We need some other techniques. Currently we are only increasing computing to increase the context window. LLMs are currently tools which make super accurate probability from parameters. Fundamentally
@soumya90706 күн бұрын
totally agreed. I think when context window increases to a certain level, most complex tasks done by human beings will also be replaced in that scenario. SDEs will also be gone i think. cz then we can feed entire codebase of millions billions of lines and the model can ezly retain and understand the codebase end to end. there will be no need for an another human sde who need to read the codebase thoroughly to write a new piece of snippet to add a new API or something. thats the doomsday in tech roles. :D
