A Canadian brother here from Tdot, the 416. Wilson and keele area of North York. January 4th of 2023, at the age of fifty-one, I retired and moved to tanzania on January 12th. It was the best move i have made. Recently, I acquired my land, and I am about to start my building project very soon. Congratulations on your project. It looks great 👍

Job well done. I think the solar panel technicians might have a point there. This is because solar panels dont work at 100% efficiency. The best solar panels work at around 20% efficiency, which means each 450W solar panel on your roof will output around 90W/Hour and not 450W/Hour. So check if this corresponds with your current charge time and hopefully it can help with future decisions 👍

Thank you for your insight! You're right that solar panels don't work at 100% efficiency. Understanding this can help manage expectations and make more informed decisions for future projects. I'll definitely look into this further. Thanks for sharing!

My engineer once told me that mono panels are more efficient in the southern Nigeria than the poly panels. Poly panels is more use in cooler weather.

The house is looking set, the paint finishing is amazing. The outside tiles choices are beautiful too. I can imagine how much work and money you have invested in this, having to deal with inflation and unstable prices. You have really done well. I like the height of your fence as well. Please, i will like to know the plot size, and how many fence wire blade went into it I could see it laid down along the fence about to be installed). I was going to use the electric fence wire, but my area is typically safe, and the wire blade would do, probably to just deter petty thieves. I also want to know if you have any plans for security cameras, so you can monitor your house from anywhere in the world.

Thank you so much for your kind words and observations! The plot size is one and half, Am not sure how much fence wire blades was used. I agree, using wire blades can be a good deterrent for petty thieves. As for security cameras, I do plan to install them for added security and the ability to monitor the house remotely. It's a worthwhile investment for peace of mind. Thanks again for your support!

@@CharlesOtti I just watched the new video you uploaded on the cctv cameras 9thums-up). Thanks for your response, too, there is always something new to learn or look up to. I also noticed that the electric fence wire had been installed as against the previous wire blade. rust me, every detailed work and effort put into this will go a long way in enhancing the comfortability and security which are ultimate. 🙌👍

Good job brother, but your house is huge for a country like Nigeria with no electricity. Relying on solar to power it will put a strain and costly to maintain when it is fully in use. I kept my building in Lagos small, so it can efficiently power with solar. You should have use solar lights for the outside lights to reduce strain on the main system.

Thank you for your feedback! You raise a valid point about the challenges of relying solely on solar power for a large house in Nigeria. I appreciate your suggestion about using solar lights for the outside lights to reduce the strain on the main system. It's always good to consider energy-efficient solutions when planning a project like this

Are u people against natural light in Nigeria? Small windows covered by black gates.
@CharlesOtti
@CharlesOtti 9 ай бұрын
It's common in Nigeria and many other places to use security measures like gates or bars on windows for safety reasons. However, it's also important to balance security with natural light and ventilation. There are ways to design windows and security features that allow for both.
