Lovely apartment. Don't keep your spices by the cooktop, the heat will dry them out. Also, don't keep perfume in a hot, steamy bathroom as that will breakdown the scent as well.

Until you find the white cabinet of your dreams, you might think about having your black shelves painted another color. You could do it the same as your wall color and they would just melt into the background and your items on the shelves would take focus. Or perhaps the same gold tone as your mirror and butterfly table and tie it into the rest of the room. So many options you could enjoy in the meantime until you find what you really want. No sense in being unhappy with what you currently have if there is a quick and inexpensive fix!

If you want a bigger mirror I would just buy the same one and hang it above the one on your​ fireplace. I doubt anyone would even be able to tell if you spaced it correctly.

I was rewatching this video a thought about leaving a comment to let you know how much I admire you and I love you. I've been following you for a long time and I was lucky enough to have the chance to meet you even if it was for a short time at a meetup but I'm so glad I did. I still think you're one of the best people around and I'm not talking just about youtube, I'm actually saying personality-wise. I still think you could express more opinions about things (I mean not makeup related but social issues when something happens) in your vlogs but I know how hard it can be and how certain people seems to live just to trashtalk about someone so I still appreciate how even if you don't openly speak about something (I'm talking in general here, I'm not referring to anything in particular), you are a supportive and positive person and make your actions speak for you. I really love seeing you being always so grateful for what you have but also seeing you worried about something or anxious for an event and you don't try to hide those things from your vlogs because it's just life. You've matured so much through the years and I think you're really becoming the best version of yourself. I hope your plan to being your boss will bring you even more personal growth and success. For that black and glass shelf that you want to replace, just spray paint it whatever color you want or just white. There are videos on youtube that show you how to tape off and spray the frame!!

That Ikea black shelf in your living room could be refurbished/upcycled pretty easily until you find something new.. (if you still feel like you need something new!) Paint the black in gold, or rosegold, or white, or even a chrome color, and it would totally bring it back to life! For the price of a can of paint, basically! AND it's sustainable and eco-friendly! ;)

Just FYI, you might want to move your oils from being so close to the stove. Heating some types causes oils causes them to under-go a chemical change and is what causes trans fats.

The Ikea bookshelves are super easy to spray paint a different color. I painted mine gold and used faux-marble sticky paper on the upper and lower shelves. My boyfriend distressed his by sanding them for an industrial look.

I have the same coffee table as you! Mine started getting a little rusty after a while from spills and water damage, if that happens I just used a rust guard spray and a brass metal spray paint and it comes up just like new! Beautiful apartment xx

Great apartment, love the sofa! To make the mirror over the fireplace seem bigger you could add some more smaller hexagons around it, not touching, like it's fading out. Does that make sense?

I would say get a built in bookcase. It would look gorgeous in your apartment. We have one in our living room with glass doors and shelves My husband does them as he is a carpenter. I’m sure you could get someone in London to do it. You can choose your own mouldings and details and have it painted any colour or have contrasting colours, or wood. Xx
