My Houzz: Kyrie Irving’s Surprise Renovation

Follow NBA All-Star Kyrie Irving as he secretly remodels his father Drederick’s home in West Orange, NJ, where Kyrie and his sister Asia grew up. Kyrie, with the help of Asia, worked with a New Jersey-based designer from the Houzz community to renovate and redecorate Drederick’s home, using Houzz at every step of the process. The end result is a more open, functional and beautifully updated space.

Wow! Now I see why Kyrie is so special! The way he was raised and the closeness with his father, it all makes sense now. Last night, I watch Kyrie on TWO occasions, help a GSW player up from the floor. Opposing teams typically do not help each other off the floor. After seeing this episode and his family dynamic it makes sense. Kyrie is the total package. Blessings to him, his dad and sister!

Being a Golden State Warriors fan and having just won the NBA championship last night I was very impressed by Kyrie's humility and honesty during his postgame interview.
