Your packages look so different than mine! I can't believe you buy from the store! I wish I could do that, but they never have the colors I need in stock. I just buy in bulk online.
@Ianenin9 жыл бұрын
I usually only buy Hama beads, in a local crafts store or online at Amazon. And i started my addiction to perler beads with a big package bought at Ikea. :D And i also have to stock up, especially some peg boards because i only have five big boards (not enough for your Sailor Moon creation!) ;)
@FiloPixie9 жыл бұрын
Ianenin I wish I could buy more beads and I wish we stock them here, especially the peg boards. Sounds like you're all set though!

Ahh, I envy you! I am from México, and it is reaaaaally hard to find cheap perler beads in the city I live (I'm far from the capital, and I just can go there, it's waaaay too expensive), I want a bucket with 22,000 beads, but again, it's hard to find, and really expensive. And in the store I buy them, there's not always the variety of colors I want :( I have to buy online, and it's okay, but I'm impatient, I don't like to wait xD I'm running out of a lot of colors, I guess I'm gonna die or something.
@FiloPixie9 жыл бұрын
Kerit Megpoid I can't even get a bucket of 22 beads just the packet that you saw, there seems to be a perler bead shortage world wide lol. Thanks for your comment =)

FiloPixie I checked the perler beads' page, and they send to a lot of countries... but not mine (sobs).

In England for one HAMA brand is £1.99
@RHGL349 жыл бұрын
Is it really cheaper to buy online? Considering you have to pay for shipping+handling too
@FiloPixie9 жыл бұрын
RHGL34 depends on the online shop you can find really cheap beads online (with free shipping) but the quality is not that good - well that's what I found
@SpeedBead9 жыл бұрын
it is cheaper! i guess in Australia the online beads are bad quality. In America they are just fine if you order from the perler beads website. So it depends on where you're from
@SpeedBead9 жыл бұрын
Maybe if you tried online it would be cheaper for you! I spend about $1.49 for a package of 1,000 beads.
@FiloPixie9 жыл бұрын
SpeedBead I did buy some for really cheap like 0.99c online with free shipping but the quality was so bad. When I ironed those beads my creations were literally pancakes then when I used the online beads WITH the store beads my creations were uneven despite using the same iron. Really wish we have something like Joanne (is that how you spell it) or more shops that sell it.
@SpeedBead9 жыл бұрын
Yeah, I go to Joann's and use a coupon when I really need a color desperately! normally I go to the official perler bead website and order directly from there! They sell them for $1.99 and then with my coupons it brings it down more!
@SpeedBead9 жыл бұрын
That sucks the quality is bad. Usually the off brand beads aren't as good as official perler or Hama beads.

Hi!! I was wondering, does Lincraft sell grey coloured perler beads?
@FiloPixie7 жыл бұрын
In the lincraft brand no :( the hama brand I haven't seen but maybe in the mix tub they do

But i like to sort
@SILVERF0X136 жыл бұрын
With a raspberry pi, an RGB sensor, a few servos, and some engineering I'm sure it's quite doable. You could probably look at how people have made M&M/Skittle sorting machines and adjust the hopper to work like the bead pen so the sensor can scan one bead at a time.

Help! I need perler beads and a peg board, i don't have a lincraft store and i don't wanna buy them at a online shopping site

+Madalina Niculescu that's a tricky one - the best way aside from Lincraft and online would be IKEA? They are pyssla bead there but does the same thing are perler and hama

Hey! Wow bead heaven! I get mine mostly from hamabeads.com cos they have good prices and the product comes packaged really well in the box so nothing gets damaged or ripped open (well at least so far for me nothing has) and also they have a bit where you can put special instructions on the order so if you are ordering for a gift they will put a note in for you which is a nice touch. They ship worldwide too :)
@FiloPixie9 жыл бұрын
CharMangaTastic thanks for the info! I have thought many times to buy from them, they have some colours that I can't find anywhere. For me I would have to bulk buy, perhaps I'll consider for my next haul =)

You can get tubs of 22,000 perler beads online for approximately 20$. I don't know how much it is in Australian dollars. But, i dont think it would do any harm looking. 40$ is ridiculous lmao ^_^
