Affordable watches are fun. Discovering designs like Direnzo , Horizon Nemo , Trafford . Also nothing wrong with used watches or Seiko and Citezin if you wait 18 months and go Grey to save 50%

Congratulations! It is always inspiring to see folks know they're priorities and take steps to fulfill them. I'm confident that selling a couple watches and holding off on your grail will be well worth the 20 or 30 hours a week you are getting back. Very good decision James! Go for affordable stuff! I am doing the same. 40th birthday is on the horizon this year and I am going to travel more often with my wife and my kids instead buying things. We live in Germany and are going to visit Korea and China for the first time soon. I definitely will wear my Casio Royale and maybe my Pagani Yachtmaster in between. Have a good year James ⌚ 👌

Very refreshing to get such a clear View on the thoughts that are behind the Changes you will do. I Just recently discovered your Channel but i think i will stay 😊 For me as well the Grand Seiko White Birch with the lovely blue hands is the grail watch but still fighting about First place with an Omega Aqua Terra. I am planning on purchasing one of the two for my 50th Birthday, so i still have some time i have to fill with some Microbrands and "cheaper" watches.

White Birch High Beat is stunning (apart from bracelet obviously). I could have got 25% off (ex display but mint) and kind of regret not doing it. Watch KZbin has changed dramatically after the bubble burst, and a lot of watch KZbinrs seem to be struggling a bit and needing go in a new direction. Wish you all the best with the changes ; ) My advice would be to shill and get that Grand Seiko hahaha.

I’ve tried it on a bunch of times and rather like the bracelet. It’s still in my Wishlist. Just unlikely to be bought this year.

@@WATCHingJames So you tried it on un sized and liked the bracelet? The problem with the bracelet is no micro adjust. If you do get one it's either 9 and 6mm links, or 10 and 7mm. If it's 9 and 6mm you actually have 3mm of adjustment, and if its 10 and 7mm you have varying adjustment between 3 and 4mm.
