@@signedwithheart I'm glad you didn't edit out the part where you were silent. Whether people are deaf or have normal hearing, they all have something in common and that is human emotions. And they can feel your pain or have something in common with you in some way or another. The circumstances might be different, but a lot of people can understand what you're going through. You're not alone. *Edit: OMG, I won't delete my original comment but I just want you to know that I saw your "Last Week Was Really Challenging" where you went off on a tangent about Black Lives Matter and I'm disgusted. If you had done your research, George Floyd was someone who had OCD and resisted arrest. If you had done your research, you would have known that the Black Lives Matter was built on a lie, with the Founder of the movement taking advantage and using the money that was donated by gullible people, to buy property for herself. The original founder of the BLM told the world as much that the BLM was built on a lie. And here you are propagandizing it. Do your research lady. I was going to show a very _important lady_ your channel but I no longer have any desire to do so. Good luck. But don't expect any sympathy from me for someone who supports targeting police officers built on a lie. GTFO.

@@Mani26031981 I guess a complete stranger on the internet has to resort to "moral superiority" with nuanced stratagem of: "I'm better than you" shtick then you know the hypocrisy sets in. Do you know how many parents who want to get a Cochlear Implant for their child but can't afford one which costs an arm, leg and kidney? Because there is not enough supply and demand due to ASL linguists who create a stigma with the technology. I don't care about some stranger on the internet verbally flouting their moral superiority, I care about the thousands of children whose futures can't readily obtain a cochlear implant. It's always toxic politics with you people. I'm glad to be an advocate for ALL LIVES MATTER. Oh and for the record, the real data statistics show that only around 30 black individuals were shot by police last year for resisting arrest. Not the _"thousands"_ that your "fact checkers" claim. Firstly, I’m sorry for the struggles you had to go through. Never been married (even though I always thought I’d have a wife by now), but did end a relationship with a woman I dated for 8 years, was bittersweet. God is good and our faith definitely helps us get through the worst of times. Never worry about repeating yourself or being “perfect”, the raw you is the real you and we’re all human after all. You’re an awesome young lady and have made some kind of impact in many people. I genuinely care about people and will definitely keep you in my prayers. It was very brave to share this and it can be therapeutic. Hang in there and just be yourself. God bless. -Billy

Divorce is for other people" I said on my wedding day, "I know I'll do whatever it takes to make things work". One of the happiest days of my life, unforgettable, exchanging vows, seeing the adoration in my partner's face, surrounded by friends and family, big party to celebrate you starting your new life together. But not so much fun 10 years later. You both grow and change in different ways - or perhaps you stagnate instead - and if you don't really share the same interests then you'll follow different paths towards different goals. If you diverge too much then you'll end up being two very different people from the ones who got married years ago. You might find yourself living with a stranger you can't love. If it gets to that point then it's better to choose divorce than to live the rest of your life with somebody you barely know and can hardly tolerate.

So sorry to learn this. I just discovered you recently and I'm going through your videos now, so I'm a bit late to most of it. It's sad, but it's also a relief when you're finally out of a bad situation (having gone through it myself, I know). Regardless of your spirituality and beliefs, remember that those who help themselves are usually more successful; in other words, trust that all will turn out for the best, but work to make sure that they actually do. Your videos will be useful to me - I'm slowly losing the power of speech (hearing is Ok, but not great). I've flirted with ASL, taking several in-person courses, but the lack of someone (ideally d/Deaf/HH) to practice with made me lose a lot of it. I appreciate all you are doing, you seem like such a genuine person. Sending good vibes your way...

Having watched a good few of your videos, I've come to learn that you are a thoughtful, caring and delightful person to know, and who is usually happy with a captivating smile and persona. Yes you are going through a troubled time (the past year - even some time before that - even more so), but you're nearly there. Stay true to yourself, know that there are your viewers/subscribers that feel for you (and love you and what you do). Now that the papers have been signed, think, what's done is done, and move on, the future awaits, and I (like many of us) hope and prey that it is a bright, happy, thoroughly enjoyable, and rewarding one for you. You are a beautiful woman, with a significant spark of creativity, a fantastic personality and a charm that captivates. Stay strong, and look forward, not back, and seek out new experiences.... All the very best to you, and your family, from little ole 🇬🇧. 🤗🤗🤗🤗

I remember a past video that I thought remember seeing you mentioning something and kinda thought something was up previous to that while you were posting some other ones. Thanks for sharing your personal experiences here though and of course your privacy is respected and you should never feel you have to share anything you don't feel you want to or is appropriate on a venue like this. We go through difficult times and sometimes cannot make sense of why certain things happen. However, we have to look at them as lessons and sometimes just realize that we don't know what the future holds and why certain things happen the way they do. The videos you've made after this was all over do show you smiling a lot more and you do seem happier, so as you mentioned it'll all work out and looks like it has. I know you've had support from your family and probably close friends to also help you through this. Just take it a day at a time and live life, because as you know, life is precious and short, though sometimes doesn't seem like it. As bad as somedays get I always make an attempt to enjoy some part of it and try to get in at least 2 good laughs/day. That's a challenge sometimes but who doesn't like to laugh. Thanks again for posting this and your previous vlogs, I always look forward to them. Looking forward to the next one Regards Rich PS remember, live life and 2 good laughs :D

Do not be hard on yourself, allow yourself for what was and learn to let go of what could have been. Allow yourself to feel whatever emotions you feel. It is by going through the storm that we get past the storm. Do not get stuck in a singular emotion or else you will not move forward. I was married for 17 years when I got divorced. I was pregnant with our third child, my other two were special needs kids, I had no job and I felt so utterly broken. I bottled up my emotions and put on a brave face and it took me so much longer to heal and move past it. Reach out when you need to, you have people willing to help. Do not feel you have to do everything alone, sharing our burdens make it lighter. I will pray for peace for you and for healing, may God bless you always and may He always open your eyes to see those blessings.

It seems that it is still raw for you. It's not necessary to share. If you choose to that, it's for you to decide, but people understand and respect your privacy. Life can be like walking on a beach - beautiful but there are times one gets sand in places they never thought they had on their person. Sometimes it can take forever to get rid of that sand too. But when you do, it will be when one isn't trying so hard and then there will come a time when you'll go to another beach and be open for a new experience. Time will help. Time can be slow as a snail or fast as a wink of an eye. Only you will know. Sending lots of healing positive thoughts and juju.

i love your videos because you convey your emotions so well. I just want to say that it is courageous of you to share something that is so deeply personal. I know it's sad but I want to say that you can't have rainbows without the rainfall. As you said, it will all work out the way it is supposed to.

It is okay to share. There are many women out there that are afraid to share. If you share, they will be inspired to share. Just looked up and knew God will lead you in HIS way.

Keep going. I'm so sorry you are hurting, Ashley. In Heavenly Father's time, your heart will not be so heavy. Treat YOURSELF the way you would treat your best friend going through this...with patience and compassion. I promise you it will get better❤ I've been there.

I know the feeling. My now ex-wife and I separated in the Fall of 2015 and officially divorced in November 2019. Bittersweet, but deeply heartbreaking....💔

I’m sorry to hear that. How much or how little of your private life you choose to share is a personal decision. I hope you have someone you can share some of your personal feelings with.

I completely understand. Something like that is hard. Much love and respect. I wish we would have met him. Most of your posts were without him. Marriage is the hardest Job to have. My daughter and I watched your videos to learn, but you were inconsistent so she lost interest. I still watch from time to time. I need to start using some signs more often . I hope if you do find a good husband, you guys can do things together

Ashley! Thank you for sharing a bit of what you’ve been going through. 🤟🏽 You’re such a strong woman of faith. I know God will carry you through all of the waves. Putting myself in your shoes I can imagine how much shame and grief you might be facing. Just know that there are a bunch of Christian brothers and sisters know that you are 1,000% loved by God, His grace covers you, He made you in His image, you are extremely special, called, and worthy!!! 🥰🤟🏽
