This kind of was the follow up to Penn's and Taylor's impersonation of Kim and Heidi at Disney we all needed. Not that both segments weren't funny, but I think a lot of us wanted the flip of the Moms at Disney segment. Now we just need Heidi as Taylor at Disney. 😂

Best tip from someone who worked there for 5 years! When the park opens start from the back and work your way out. Also Turkey Legs (so much meat at a great price) and Pinapple Dole Whip (best treat ever) are the only "treats" I'll buy in Disney World.

My husband is just like this! The best day ever at a park in FL was in 2016 when my husband and my youngest son got sick and had to stay in the hotel. My then my then high school son and I went to Universal without him. It was the best day ever at the parks - and we have been A LOT (we used to live in Orlando). No schedule, no running from one things to another, no having a fit about food prices and we discovered a whole street in the Harry Potter area that we had never seen before - in our 3 or 4 trips to Universal since it was built. My son and I still reminisce about that day.

When I lived in FL, one year I got a season pass (it was about half of what it costs right now and because I was a FL resident I could pay monthly no interest). I too count the Monerail as a ride. I tell people to use the line apps to determine how busy each park is and that would help us decided where to go next. And I spent my food $$ in Epcot (England for Fish and chips...Yum!) and only had something light in the other parks for a snack if that. I only got to ride the Toy Story Mania ride ONCE the whole year, because know matter how fast we'd book it to the fast passes they were all gone and there was a +2hr long ride. It's a great ride but not +2hr great ride. Other great AC spots: the Epcot Ball & Carousel of Progress! 🎶 Great big beautiful tomorrow 🎶

How could you not get the mickey mouse ice cream bars, and the souvenir popcorn buckets, and the giant pretzels and the caramel apples and the funnel cakes and all the gelato and baklava and beers at Epcot? How could you not stop at every penny press machine? How could you not stop at the gift shops after Pirates of the Caribbean and the Haunted Mansion to buy t-shirts and novelty hats and Christmas ornaments?) My sister was all about the rides.

My parents where cheap as hell. The few times we went to Disney, when family came over, we would have to take all of our food with us. First thing parents would tell us is don't even think about asking for toys here. Went to Disney about 5 years ago (by myself as an adult). I did not take any food. I got hungry and bought something. It was really really really expensive. Later that day I say some guy with a backpack pull out a bag of Pringles. Can't believe I'm saying this - I thought that guy is smart - food here is so EXPENSIVE. I don't go to Disney often, when I do I don't mimic my parents and pack PB and J, for lunch and meals for dinner. I do bring snacks and sun screen though - that place is expensive and hot as hell. Did you guys see anyone where with the Most Expensive Day ever shirts? Kim looks spot on with the ADHD shirt! The only thing missing from this video was Ann Marie!!!!! You guys should have included her too!

"Bladders empty!" ... but we know Dad's will get pinched full first! Also, the "motorcoach" ride back to the hotel counts as squeezing out one last adventure ride from this place because you wait in a zigzag line and it moves people partly in both light and dark during the ride, plus there is AC.

I just literally got anxiety watching this video. My parents took us to Disney in Florida about every year until I was 14 and then they got divorced which ended my trips to Disney World. I have since grown up got married, and we have never been able to afford to go to Disney World in Florida. That being said, my daughter and my husband really want to go. One day we will get there. That's not why I have anxiety. The exact way you guys are racing around the park, is exactly why I have anxiety. For me it was not a fun experience, racing from ride to ride. Also the choices were my parents choice of rides. Some to me were downright scary! I did not like the Pirates of the Caribbean because of that stupid little Hill, which I'm sure now is not anything to be scared of but when I was a kid it was! The world way people mover, I was terrified we were going to get on space Mountain! 🤣There were some roller coasters which I did not like and there's nothing like waiting online, for something you know is going to scare you and you don't feel like going on! They made us go up to those Disney characters! LOL! I know there were some rides that I did like. But the thing I remember most, was the racing around, the Heat, my parents fighting, and not being able to get food, because even back in the 70s it was too expensive. I don't know how but if I ever get back Disney World in Florida, I will go on off-season, and I will take my time and enjoying that place because quite frankly everything I remember is a blur..... I can still remember the anxiety of getting off that thing that took us from the parking lot to the monorail and getting off the monorail, and seeing those flags that led you into Disney. It was going to be a day of walking and fighting😤😕 Now I know Disney can be a good experience and for a lot of people it has. I'm only one person and definately not the average visitor. Plus its been years since I've been there.(however Kim and Penn do make it funny)But, anybody planning to go, please don't race your kids. Take your time, and enjoy it the way Mr. Disney intended us to.🤗🤗🤗

I went to Disneyworld (as it used to be called) on my own when I was a teen. Researched the whole thing, went on only the rides I wanted. Ate at the restaurants I wanted. It was joyous and relatively stress-free compared to traveling with my parents, which would have been similar to what you experienced. It also helped me learn how to talk to strangers and ask questions.

@@ronwaters478 thank you Ron for understanding. I actually edited my comment because I called Space Mountain, Escape to Witch Mountain, (but I think that's what the ride was based off of) because I was afraid the keyboard Warriors would eat me alive! You're right I should give it another chance. I actually went through the motions of looking up the pirate ride video from 1967 then I compared it to today's. They definitely made it less scary. If anything from the 1967 ride made it to Florida which supposedly is shorter then the one in California, I can understand the reason why I was a little traumatized.🤣 But thank you again reading my comment. I didn't think anybody actually would.

@@chickie8252 - LOL. The one thing I didn't plan on was the heat. I had never been to Florida and assumed that the weather was the same as it was in the northeast, where I grew up. So I timed the trip to coincide with my birthday, in early August. Never experienced heat/humidity like that before !

My parents used to take us in October and it was still hot. Probably not as humid. We used to take the Amtrak train from New York 2 Jacksonville and then my dad would Rent-A-Car and we'd go to St Petersburg. When we would go to Disney world, he would drive the two-hour Drive to Disney World, spend our day in hell, and then drive two hours back. I give him credit he was trying to give us a good time. As little kids, we were more interested in spending time in the pool at the hotel, I didn't have a pool at home, so playing in the pool was good enough for me and my siblings. Now looking back, my father should have just rented us a room at the Holiday Inn a few blocks away from the house, for a few days, and let us just go to the pool. It would have been a lot cheaper!🤣🤣 The other thing that we missed out on, were a couple of Halloweens. My mom and dad said people didn't trick or treat in Florida. I have met a few people from Florida who say that is not true. I guess my parents just didn't want to take us around in a strange neighborhood. Now I see Disney has Halloween parties in their Park. I don't think they had that in the 70s. I think if I can ever afford it, I'll get my husband and my daughter to go in October. That way we can see all the festivities we missed out on and not roast in the heat. Plus it would actually be cool to have a beer in Disney!

Dude! Before any tourist attraction/public pool/ event we expect to attend, I shove so much food into my family before we enter because I, too, am *not* buying food once we get in.

I went to Disney World as a kid in the 80's in the middle of summer. Had a heat stroke on the raft coming back from Tom Sawyer's Island. Never go to Disney in summer!

Near the very end, Kim-“I feel like…” I don’t know if she ad-libbed that, or if Penn actually said those words at some point. I’m guessing if he didn’t before, it’s definitely in the rotation now. Great stuff, you guys.
