This whole thing (pooping, sleeping, hair style etc) sounds totally like ocd. He can't change these habits that easily. He hates it, if someone disturbs his habits....either way he should get help or they need to live with these issues.

People are empathising with him while totally overlooking his selfish behaviour! The wife is obviously stressed out as well. The son said he spends time at home only once a year. His behaviour is having a negative effect on his family. OCD is not a good enough excuse for some of his behaviour

It's not so much the toilet thingy, it's the need to de-stress after work. After making 100 calls a day he doesn't want to talk to anyone, including his wife and kids. He wants to silence the talking. I get it. His wife's sing song whiny voice would bother me after a long day too. He needs to get another job. It's too much for him.

And yes I agree people who suffer from it can have fear of germs or contamination but he has urge to always go to the same place. Maybe he has diferent kind (symptoms). Sorry, this guy is cruising in the men's room. You can squat over a regular toilet crouching if you need to. What do older people with bad hip or knee joints or fat people do with squatting though? How do they get down and up again without coming into contact with the floor or falling in? How do you clean yourself?

The way they dealt with this issue was terrible. They have zero concern for the sensitivity of this topic to the husband. The wife is just here to complain her head off about the husband, while she is sitting on the side with all the hosts and whoever, thinking they’re all there to undoubtedly support her. I get that him taking too long is sort of problematic, he can shorten that, or get a squatting toilet at home and reduce his outings, but all the other shit she complained about just shows how she cant bear him, and everything he does is annoying for her. His attitude, which they are also criticizing so much results from their interrogations and ridicule. They always take their guests like a strange specimen and they soon want to examine them up close in their natural habitat by asking them to come to the center to perform their un-earthly habits. He has every right to refuse their requests and maintain his composure.

Is it really so weird to like squatting... I feel kind of offended as I sit like that a lot too (like right now for example...) plus taking a shit like that is waaaay easier. As I also don't have a squatting toilet at home, the moment "it" takes more than a few seconds I'll also squat on the seat XD Plus, that's not me, but some of my friends also HATE if something/someone touches their hair. Even their own children. He should take better care of his wife though.

I can say that i really understood him well cause i have the same issue exactly like him. I only poo with squating bowl. If theres no squatting bowl so i would squatting on sit bowl. I knew it kinda dangerous to do that but yaaa i have to do that to achieve the comfortable pose and its a habit to that. I just cant stop it 😭.
