The first thing I thought of when he went back out for the avocado was that he was cheating. Created an argument to go and see his mistress. They had been together for 8 years, but married for 5 and their kids are 7, 6 and 3, so perhaps he felt forced to marry her seeing as she had two kids with him before he finally married her. He nay be resentful.

But in some societies where men cheating on their wives is accepted and even encouraged, he probably felt he could appear as a responsible married man and sleep with whomever he wanted too. Some men in that situation won't leave so it's up to the wife! But easier said than done.

His behaviour is abusive… I’m surprised they didn’t address it that way. Locking her out of the house, starting arguments over little things, leaving without the respect of an explanation, and false accusations are all acts of emotional/psychological abuse to keep her on her toes!

Let’s dissect this dilemma ‼️ First off he was leaving to go out didn’t explain to his where he was going. Wife not asking for to much but an avocado while you are out doing what ever he is doin. Then when he comes back you wanna have smart remark like you aggravated. Mins later wanna act like he just didn’t have a wanna be stern answer regarding the 🥑 like he can magically find one now. ANOTHER EXCUSE TO LEAVE HER AND HIS CHILDREN‼️ He comes back home and doesn’t show respect for his wife by letting her know where he has been and/ or apologize that he has been gone for 2 hours. Now that he know he has been CHEATING he try’s to throw in her face again about the seasonal 🥑, then why go back out the second time then if he knew that then try’s to displace the situation from him to her and talk about how she is privileged. (He trying to turn the tables off himself.) She had the respect and let’s him know unlike him to where she is going. The husband knew he was doing wrong so he locked down the house to control her. Then makes her wait outside cuz he is in feelings like a female cuz he know he is doing wrong and assumes she is doing wrong also. (Guilty ass conscious.) Now wants to play victim and now narcissisticly wants an apologize. And wants to turn it on her that her can’t let something go. Leave buddy he cheating and turning on you like are wrong‼️‼️‼️

I'm back again for the true story that correlates with the dilemma...he is definitely cheating. My ex-husband would tell me he was studying for a test thinking I didn't know what was really happening. He would leave in the middle of the night while I was sleeping and when I woke up and texted to see where he was, he would say he went for a drive because he couldn't sleep. Whenever I would call him out about his very obvious cheating, he would gaslight me. Never once did I let it go and let him try and make me the bad one because I wasn't stepping out on him nor lying about my whereabouts. I never tracked his location, never asked him to share it with me, nor did I bother him while he was out because he was supposedly having a night out with the guys. I'm not like that because he is a grown man. I think what really bothered me was that he thought he was so slick but in reality he was so bad at it to the point where I really questioned if he was slow or not lol.

It’s just a bit much to be going out with an opposite sex friend after having or in the middle of arguing with your spouse. Understandably that the partner and the friend are cool with each other it just in that moment it looks sketchy. But nonetheless locking your wife out of the home is absolutely insane ! Sounds like he’s been having issues with his wife’s behavior/mannerism for a while and he’s harboring a lot of feelings. This is leading to bad and dangerous behavior !
