Thank you! Just 2 minutes in and it's already annoying. Once her age and the fact that her husband is a year older, it isn't necessary to tell me his age. I can do the math. Once she says her daughter is in the first grade, it's not necessary to tell me she's in elementary school. I know that too. These statements are insults to the audience's intelligence and a waste of words. Truly good writing will avoid both. When I see/hear this sort of thing in the first couple of minutes, I go to the comments to see if it's worth struggling through to the end or if it's going to continue to be annoying. Again, thank you. You've saved me from further disappointment.
