You can be both, so long as the wife is responsible for the home, up keep and maintenance, while simultaneously owning a business and/or working outside the home. We are women who can do anything and everything at once or separately. When did you begin doubting yourself?
@wadehiggins1919Ай бұрын
I wish people would stop telling someone "You should get married." One has to meet someone who is a suitable marriage mate before one can get married. Otherwise, you have someone getting married for the sake of getting married and that is a terrible recipe that leads to much unhappiness or worse issues. I have seen too many "marry in haste and repent at leisure". Patience in choosing a marriage mate can bring much happiness.

These stories are always so disjointed because they are not well thought out. I mean, did she seriously buy a house and then sign it over to her husband? How could he sell it if she bought it? How is it that these stories always have the same theme: the dude turns into a completely different person after they get married? The truth is that the victim wife is a big fat idiot if she had no idea what the guy was like before she married him! I mean she travels globally for her job, how is she this dumb in her personal relationships? None of this gels, and becomes inane and insulting.

A housewife doesn't have a job outside the home. That's the definition of housewife.
@Julia.Mandelbrot20 күн бұрын
😂 Who told u that? It's literally the person who does all the chores.
@jessicagreer482820 күн бұрын
@Julia.Mandelbrot A housemaid is a person who takes care of house chores. A housewife is "a woman whose main occupation is caring for her family, managing household affairs, and doing housework, while her husband or partner goes out to work." And a woman who gets up everyday to go to a job and does all the homemaking also is either single or a doormat.
@southernflight507813 күн бұрын

I was confused by that too. One of the first things she said was, "I'm a housewife", then goes on to describe her high-powered job.
@nyneeveanya88618 күн бұрын
Any married woman who does the house cleaning, cooking, laundry, is a housewife whether she has an outside job or not. My mother was a housewife. Anything to do with the running of the house she did. Car maintenance, lawn care, grocery shopping was my dad’s responsibility. Child care was done by both. Homework, baths, after school meetings, discipline were all shared between them. Both my parents worked outside the home also. This is why I laugh at the term “traditional housewife”. There were more working housewives than non working housewives. My mother, her six sisters, both grandmothers all worked outside the home and also took care of the home. What they call “traditional housewife” now was only in rich families and on tv.

AI is literally going to destroy everything if regulations aren't put in place. This story could have translated so much better to the audience if it was narrated by a human. Tone, emotion, dictation, enunciation, pausing/hesitation, etc. makes a story rather fiction or not expressive, and draws us in and allows us to feel.

Getting married after only one year of knowing someone is insanely crazy. A man who can't take care of himself is really ridiculous in 2024. That includes, cleaning, cooking,laundry. My parents raised me and my much older brother with no gender specific roles. And my brother was born in 1958. He actually irons clothes better than me. I hate it. Elliot is a no good husband. My niece laughed and said maybe it works out then. 😊 There is no one good way to meet your spouse and (in my case) best friend.
