Notice how Bobi avoids actually staring at the apprehensive kitten. Predators stare at prey. Toby is even better because bro just takes a nap. This is the way to pass the vibe check with all cats -- act indifferent to their presence, it makes a cat feel safe. You can engage more with them once the relationship is established.

Shin isn't swatting playfully. She's hissing and swatting in a way that says: "I'm the boss, try me, and I'll show you why I'm the boss". Then again, she didn't have her Impulse or Destiny gundam to back her up, so she had to rely on her making Bobi afraid of her.

@@giovanna722 Answer the question. Why would a terrified kitten approach the dog? They don't show that because it didn't happen. This is a staged confrontation against the will of the kitten, obviously.

​@ericfern8869 your the not smart one. I raised kittens like that a lot. Sometimes curiosity will cause a kitten to go to someone even if they are scared. Also it's good they did. So they can learn that husky is a big friendly boy

@@ericfern8869 That kitten is not afraid of the husky. Pupils not dilated, ears not glued to the head, approach is not crouched. No, that's a "i'ma kick yo ass" stance. It might be aggressive play or it might be territorial. It has been mistreated and just recently learned that Toby can be a safe space and is getting to play with other kittens. Its play with the kittens looks rather rough too, but their mutual interaction will teach it what is too rough and what isn't. Likewise, Bobi's behaviour is likely to defuse that behaviour. There's no play and there's no backing off, just dodging and standing ground. That will teach that both potential reasons for the kitten's aggression are fruitless. In that space, I trust it'll be fine soon. The kid will learn.
