13:12 THAT'S a bummer! Google Maps needs to step it up and put in the hours for those border crossings. Generally, Google Maps lists hours open for most businesses in my area (Chicagoland). One thing I WISH they did is tell you when railroad crossings are blocked, kind of like when it shows delays on the expressway.

That was a sky jump! The winter Olympics were held in Calgary Alberta back in 1988, the facilities are still in use today. Also FYI the speed limit on the highways in Canada is posted at 100 km/hr (62 mph) but if you drive at just under 120 km/hr (75 mph) (when conditions allow) you shouldn't have any issues.

Sometimes you find great stuff when you go off the plan. Other times, not so great. You stayed positive! Love those doggos so much.

I had a bad hotel experience involving bedbugs 🤢. Thankfully I got the room switched. You picked a town in honor of Miss Diva and the food looked pretty good.

I had a bad experience with Days Inn in Michigan. A group of us got hotel rooms. We all had late check-ins. 3 different rooms had housing keeping burst into the rooms at 5a. Than 2 us check out at the same and questioned why there was a price difference between the rooms when the only difference was a longer reservation. I booked like 3 days earlier, and the other was the day of. The 2 female staff members accused me of performing "favors" for the night shift clerk.😡🤬😡😡 Needless to say, 2 male friends, each one grabbing an arm, carried me out the doors. And ever since, I don't recommend Days Inn or the parent company. And yes, I called corporate, and they refused to do anything about it. Not to mention, they blamed me for the situation.

You should make a short with the hot spring clip. Such nice white noise. Loop that forever

Welcome to Banff! The area you were driving slow is in a National park where speed limits are lowered by 20 km/h under the normal speed limit due to wildlife often wandering onto the highways and winter conditions.

Jess, thank you SO MUCH for letting us live vicariously through you with Jamie and the girls -- Memphis, Kira & Eleanor, of course! The scenery you show in Canada is such a treat to watch, especially since I don't anticipate traveling in the near future (though these places in Canada may become "bucket list" items). Also, I really appreciate your travel tips so we know what to expect and prepare for it. Please give everyone a hug for me, and have a great week!

My parents and I stayed at a basically fishing cabin one time years ago, it was a coupon for a couple nights, we stayed one night, double checked for bedbugs, then left as soon as we could in the morning for a friend's house. Lesson learned if a place doesn't feel comfortable do your best for one night. Or sleep in your car if you can XD.

Have you been to Jasper and visited the lakes etc? I just thought I would mention that if you want to see wildlife that is where we have seen the most around this time of year. We saw a lot bears and eagles. The only place that we have seen more is the Northern Rockies which you go through when you take the Alaska Highway.

Not that I would make trip to Montana just For That, But for the fact that I've Done theme park work in the past, And ride operations In them, Carousels being among the types of rides I Have worked, as well as being one of my favorite rides to ride when I'm At a theme park or amusement park, plus the fact that theme park, amusement park, and ride history, and the nostalgia aspect of them has kind of always Been a hobby of mine, which to a certain extent is kind of part of what drove me to seek ride operations work within them in the 1st place, I would be Really Interested in seeing that carousel park/ display/ museum, especially to have a chance to see it in operation, maybe even ride on it if it's built to handle adult weight, and if there Is a museum or history aspect to it all, I'd Love to experience That first-hand, too, and if you guys hadn't stopped there & included it in this video, I'd have likely Never found out about it, so thank you for doing that.

I really hate memory foam beds. My brothers got one in the last time I went to visit I had to sleep on it, however, is slept good. The problem was trying to get out of the darn thing. Every time I had to go to the bathroom or even in the morning when I finally woke up, it literally took me five minutes just to get the sitting position because every time I press down I would sink deeper into the mattress.
