Rina is criminally underrated. She's incredibly talanted, she deserves so much more than she's getting. Why do people can't see her? She deserves all the Grammys, she has to be at the top. If you've listened to her music, you can tell she's insanely creative. She's always experimenting, doing all kinds of crazy things and it works. She's only made two albums and they reek of authenticity and uniqueness. Who does that these days? Only of handful of the ''popular'' artists. The others are just fillers. If Grammy nominations aren't based on popularity, then why every year the most streamed musicians get them? Why not Rina or the thousand other artists that I'm sure work their asses off and create amazing things, yet remain unheard of. This industry is repulsive to its core.

i-D is really good with highlighting new artists i discovered rina through an i-D video years ago and became a fan ever since i finally got to see her live in LA 11/19/22 and let me tell you this girl is an entertainer! and can really sing, one of the best shows i’ve been under $100 she was very interactive with her fans and it was just a lot of fun!

I love Rina's music, her lyrics and the way she chooses to represent the themes of the albums in her outfit and makeup. Growing up my relatives and friends also said I was shy, even though I never saw myself as that!

wow full circle on her last interview. even though we're all strangers and even rina, there is that hidden connection she shares that we can all secretly relate to inside. it's comforting seeing her struggle with some of the issues of stress as i am right now. i hope she's able to flourish in not just her creative and work life but i also hope she can bring some clarity and life withher family and friends :) thanks for being always amazing ms sawayama, keep going

Refreshing hearing someone be honest about Lust, the Venus effect. Love to me is similar but specifically when all is said and done, it's that long term endearment where you'd still be excited to see them at the end of the journey we call life. If you can't break bread with your exs, even if they show up with another lover, it wasn't love.

I relate to her on the criticism part of herself. Should’ve, could’ve, or would’ve done that. Constantly looking for improvement on something when sometimes it doesn’t need improvement . . And most importantly, she is shy. She seems bold and outgoing, but there’s this inner shyness beneath what we see. She sounds a lot like me. Mediating her parents relationship and trying to control everything. She has strong leader qualities and that’s why she is controlling and why she can mediate differences between other people. I look at her in a more relatable way now and she also just gave me the answer to everything I’ve been trying to figure out since I was a kid. To make people happy. ♥️
