Thank you for this update bro 👌 I was looking for a Ibanez to upgrade to be a shredder type guitar (because my other Floyd equipped guitars are in drop B and A and ones just a hard tail, Nothing on the back for springs it’s just bolted on super hard into the body) and I was looking at this. The trem I was going to replace with a more expensive or a gotoh bridge and I am deff going to re wire it to exclude the tone nob. And probably going to put some sort of Seymour Duncan or DiMarzio distortions in it for a7x stuff or anything like it.

Is it even possible to bolt on a Floyd rose? Like don’t you need the springs?

@@pondererofdumbshit2669 You can block it, I did that for a while on my Floyd guitar (I had it in drop a so that’s the only reason why). I recommend that you learn the measurements needed and get a custom wood block cut out and inserted in a way that’s reversible for future reference. It’ll make life easier then coins or whatever you may find that won’t work as well.

I was pretty sure no, but to be sure I checked the specs on the Ibanez website and it comes with "Quantum (H) Neck and Bridge pickup (Passive/Ceramic), and Quantum (S) Middle pickup (Passive/Alnico".

Maureen Flanagan hi! So the white jem jr comes with quantum pickups and the pink/yellow jem jr comes with infinity pickups. The high end jems mostly have the Dimarzio evolution pickups. I had a pink jem jr that I changed pickups to Dimarzio evolutions bc infinities are weak. The quantum’s aren’t too bad though.

Are you able to tune down to d# on this guitar?

Hey Ryan, this guitar can most definitely tune down to D#. This video is pretty old haha, but I have since then blocked off the floyd rose on both sides (so that it will remain balanced). I can easily switch tunings and do so all the time. Heavier strings can help some, but if you play in Eb/D# often then I'd just set the guitar trem up for it and leave it in that tuning haha

Stainless Steel is not rust proof, only just resistant. Oxidation can still cause it to rust it just doesn't rust as much as a metal like iron. Stainless prevents it with a small infusion of nickle, but if you do experience rusting than it can be fixed with just some baking soda and vinegar. Stainless steel can rust, but it doesn't rust out.

It is really stable and does not move unless you use a screwdriver to raise or lower it haha

I apologize for telling you wrong. Mine does the same thing haha. I was thinking you said middle pickup. All Humbucker pickups will move a bit when touched like that unless they have a metal casing on them, so nothing to worry about haha.
