What helped me a lot was watching each of ICT's videos a minimum of 3 times each. After the first time you know the points where to fast forward because he tends to go on these "everybody is copying me" rants. HAHAHA I screen shot all his diagrams and examples, print them out and use them as point of references when I backtest. That helped me see the concepts in real time quicker and make everything he teaches click.

@@alilin4128 What I did was draw the pattern in my notes and then keep an eye on the chart in a certain kill zone (NY Killzone for me) and try to see if it forms that day. If it does I make a mental trade.

yeah the "learning it in a way that makes sense for me" part was really correct. I watched vids after vids trying to learn all these support and resistance, supply and demand, and orderblocks, and indicators and how they all came together and all that for I guess more than half a year, and I think it was just last june when I came across elliot waves where I started really understanding the things that I was learning, how it all came together, when it started making sense... for me. Learning trading isn't something you can fully grasp just because there's a step by step system laid out for you. You will almost always have to skip around some chapters you can't fully grasp, read and understand the other chapters, and come back to the previous chapters to complete your understanding of them. Filling the gaps in your knowledge is like grinding and leveling up in area B, just so you can defeat the boss in area A.

I have been on the same journey though I don't really have previous trading experience I was learning but never jumped in yet then Michael started his YT mentorship I quickly realized that it is the way I want to trade and a clear defined way to understand the market structure. I have been seeing trades outside of killzone times and with FVGs in them that then go onto play out how I expected them to. It is VERY powerful once you even understand the basics of it. I still got about 6month to go before I will be at the level to jump in and really start trading I'm in no rush. Keep goin people it is worth it!!!

I can back you on that! If you take your time to check for FVGs, you will be surprised of how accurate ICT is. I've been a pivot trader for a while. I would like to learn about supply and demand. I hear a lot of people praise ICT but also hear a lot of people bash ICT. I've watched Vinny's videos on Michael and expose him as a fraud. It's really hard to trust a good source of knowledge these days. Thanks for your review.

That concerns me, too. An elaborate plot by ICT to get views for his "free" youtube videos. His videos are monetised. Think about it. In order to "understand" these videos, you need to watch them multiple times. It is a bit fishy to me. If ICT concepts work, then why share them with the public? Why not just keep trading and spending free time with family. Unless this is all about youtube monetisation and paid courses.

I’ve been testing a model centered round fvg, liq purge and revert, 2 months backtested and July has been a combination of backtetsed and live, the results are insane, lowest win rate from the 3 months is around 75ish%

Can someone offer feedback regarding ftmo daily loss limit? I watched the 500k profit video on ftmo's channel. How could you possibly make 500k off 1 trade on a 400k account and NOT violate the daily loss limit? I dont want to hear how he knew it was going to move-I wish he shared specific details on how this trade was possible within FTMO's parameters. That is the golden nugget we didn't get. I recently caught the pivot on AUD/JPY with 4 lots at 90.705 closing in 2 days (around 7k / 26% on a 25k account risking just over $555/ 2%) at 93.080 however if I hold through ANY significant dip on the way up to my eventual target (98.xx+)I would almost certainly violate the 5%/$1250 daily loss.

Is it normal to have 3 or 4 limit orders skipped by a point or even less within a given day?????. I trade USDJPY on M5 timeframe. I personally find it very unusual!!, IDK maybe it's normal
