Witchcraft for most people is a lifestyle, and lifestyles can’t be just big things. That’s just not sustainable. I find magic is at its best when I incorporate it in small doses throughout the day!

I really really appreciate that your morning routine is not only simple but also you admitted that this is your ideal morning routine. I feel like so many I see, witchy or not, are like 12 steps long including 30 mins of yoga, 30 mins of meditating, a full home made healthy breakfast and a 5km jog. So it's refreshing to see someone being real about it 😁

My Witchy routine begins with stirring intentions into my morning coffee , showering while visualizing all negativity running down the drain with the water. Next is my daily devotional ritual which takes roughly about 15 minutes to do. Then I get dressed and drive myself to the land of my mental torture aka the Veterinary Clinic where I work. So yeah things do not have to be "Grand" or ceremonial to bring some Magick into daily life.

This is beautiful. 'You don't have to do big things all the time'. Yes. As someone with chronic pain/fatigue, it is so refreshing to see a morning routine that isn't "I get up at 5am with the sun and do yoga and then meditate on the hard floor and then make fresh smoothies and pancakes and then do lots more tiring and painful things all before 6am".

"Stop for a moment. Allow your mind to settle down. Breathe deeply. Go to a quiet place. Set aside your thoughts and your plans, goals and problems long enough, you do this frequently enough and you begin to experience the Presence. After awhile, it just emerges, in small glimpses at first and then, as you proceed, you will have larger experiences of it, enough to show you what you need to see and know about yourself and about your circumstances. This is the process of Revelation." Marshall Vian Summers - The Presence

I don't think a complex morning routine is practical for anybody, at least for the very being of the day the earth is calm, and I think we should too. I find your morning rooting really inspiring, and I will look forward to the other version of it. Grounding yourself, first, feel like coming back to the basics before the storm of the day.

Thank you for sharing. I found it interesting that your priority in the morning is grounding with nature. I never would have thought it would make such a big difference until the past few days, my neighbor and I have been taking walks first thing in the morning in a more natural setting in our city. We have both experienced an incredible sense of peace, I think from both the exercise and the nature. I will now plan to incorporate nature into my morning routine even when we don't go for walks. Thanks again!

Oh Annabel, I just realized just how calming and soothing your videos are. I know I'm interested in your videos because of the content, but on top of that... or more aptly, below it is just the deep peacefulness of your practice that until now I couldn't detect or articulate. EVERY other KZbin video I watch... either enrages me so that I mentally argue with the premise of the video; or distracts me and I fly off into fantasies related to the video... most times I am also playing solitaire or pool or mahjong at the same time so I am not really engaged. But your videos consistently engage me... mesmerizes me and i PHYSICALLY feel a sense of buzz or clutter in my brain recede to the back of my brain. I am really not able to meditate or practice mindfulness in my life... I'm just not good at it... But your videos are the closest to mindfulness that I am capable of.

im new to witchcraft, this is my before i start research. Ive had it pop up on my fyp around 15times in the past 2 days and saw that as a good sign to start. I've always loved nature and wanted to immerse myself in it, as i feel its become distant from me in modern life. Something about the Milkweed and the Monarch butterflies struck a cord in my heart, I know that may sound like nothing and I don't really know what that feeling means. but I thought I would type it here, to say it aloud, and maybe come back to it later once i have figured it out. Hope all is well for you all.

I liked the appearance of the milkweed seed pods in today's video! Something interesting I learned is that the milkweed fluff is oleophilic (oil-loving) and hydrophobic. I do a science experiment with kids showing how milkweed fluff could be used to remove oil from the surface of water (cleaning up a miniature oil spill). I don't know that that would have any use for you, but I think it's neat. And of course milkweed is the host plant for monarch caterpillars.
