Thank you so much for the mention!!! I never exactly thought I’d get very far with my goofy idea series, but here I am now! For what your ideas were, I’ll go through them: 1. Crossplay I’d handle how you said so. PC and Console is a very huge gap for handling, so limiting it that way would be perfect. 2. For character quests, that would be pretty neat! It would give people an incentive to play around with characters they may not be great with in an interactive way, instead of embarrassing themselves online while they learn. 3. For custom lobbies/stream modes, those are a given. I was actually going to cover them as I got towards the gameplay, but I’m still going through variants lol. 4. The character mastery ideas sound a lot like GW1’s level-up system. There’s a fine line between making them too easy and grindy as hell, so if they were to be a thing, I’d make them just difficult enough to prevent XP farm cheese, forcing you to actually PLAY the character. 5. So, the backyard battleground stuff is literally the entirety of part two of my ideas, so I don’t feel the need to explain it all here lol. I def agree with uniqueness. I think part of why popcap removed variants in bfn is because they wanted to add new classes without making the game feel overcrowded. I love all the variants in gw2, but a lot of them are pretty similar and it makes it harder to regularly add new characters. If there was a gw3, I think less but more unique variants per class would be a good shout

I also heard the devs made Zombified versions of the Garden Warfare 1 Maps in a video, unfortunately they didn't release it in the full game + majority of them are incomplete, and maybe import the regular versions, (Gardens & Graveyards), to expand the nostalgia. Also make new Boss Hunts, even out the bosses on the Plants (since Zombies have more than the Plants' side), balance changes too.

Adding on to number 4, I think it would be cool if during mastery certain things gave you more xp on that level. For example for super brainz, on level 1 of mastery killing with fists gives more xp, but on level 2 it gives more if you kill with the super ball

They should make you choose what zombies and plants to spawn for example, if a army zombie spawns, but you wanted to kill a superbrains, you could just click superbrains, and you can choose which one to spawn.

BFN does continue after GW1/2 BUT the games are not in the same universe roughly. BFN doesn't also have varients which makes the game bland asf and those upgrades like Brainium Basher (Which was a full mistake by EA/Popcap) would make the game unbalanced asf too
