Very interesting never heard or seen this type of identical twin. They are not identical in any way what so ever but you can tell they are family. It must be hard to look at what you could have been if it wasn't for mutations. Best of luck to these two beautiful souls ❤️

No, fraternal and identical is determined by how the twins were formed. For identical twins, the same egg splits, but for fraternal twins, a different sperm takes a different egg (I believe).

I am not sure it should make you sad. Yes, one was born different from the other, but they are both living their best lives. I think the smaller twin might feel a twinge of envy at her sister’s life, but she has different interests anyway and she is making the very best of her life. She is very lucky she has such a strong bond with her sister and vice versa too of course.
