My Inky Countdown - Diamine Inkvent and Colorverse Colorvent - Day 15

The latest Fountain Pen video is now available for your viewing pleasure.
In this video I am opening Day 15 of the Diamine Inkvent calendar and the Colorverse Colorvent calendar.
I do a quick look at each ink, a short writing sample on Tomoe River and also Christmas Card stock.
I then open my chocolate calendar and the surprise gift my wife has bought me as part of the Inky Countdown period.

Diamine Sleigh Ride is my absolute favorite from the whole inkvent. I'll be getting a bottle of that when it's released next year. The reddish brown with the green sheen on the paper is perfect. I've always loved brown inks that sheen green but this one has the most sheen of all of them.

Yes, my sleigh ride was quite brown when wet, then brilliant green sheen. I quite like the Brinicles swipe with the stained finger. 😂

Will you be making a top 3 or top 5 (or such) video out of both of these calendars after every ink is revealed? It would be interesting to see if there is a pattern in both calendars that you like or if they come out quite differently.

Yeah, I've got a number of "follow-up" videos planned for these, most will be out in January. I'm also going to use 3 inkvent and 3 colorvent inks in my January Pens In Use selection, although these may not necessarily be favourites.

Both are great shades. Sleigh Ride is like the mirror image of Grotto. I am getting to like vibrant inks. Brinicles perhaps is like a teal colour? Have you determined the model of the pen?

Wait you didn't focus on that nib its one of those Fude Nibs right ??? as want to know more about these Also Sleigh Ride is amazing the red with green sheen such xmas colours so wins this round as too many shades of blue from colour verse
