I would listen to her stories and back porch talks on my commute to and from work and while sewing. She was quite an inspiration! My husband of forty five years died in April of 2020 at the beginning of covid .Jeannes humor made me smile and eventually laugh. In the wee hours of my sleepless nights she was a blessing to my broken heart . Loved her so much.

She was wonderful. And to think she lived to make us laugh. What a gift. My favorite story is the one about the vanilla milkshake. Because I had a similar experience at a restaurant. As it unfolded I could only think of Jeane's story. It was a bond. For a little while I felt like I was her. Now I tell my story to my friends and we enjoy a bit of human humor. Rest in peace Jeanne Robertson. We will never forget you.

I had the great pleasure of seeing Jeanie perform twice . The second time I reminded her of her appearance at the Southern Lady conference when she took out a flask with a nod to the previous nights speaker who was drinking at the podium . It was the funniest thing I had ever seen . We had a good laugh about that . She remembered of course ! What an inspiration she is !! Working to the end and still with a great sense of humor even during touch times . That is how I want to be as I get older ! She will me much missed ! My sincere condolences to Beaver and his sons .

It was so funny because the day before everyone was kind of in shock after the speech . Being polite southern ladies no one said a word . So when she came up to the microphone the next night and set up her flask we all lost it! She inspired me to sneak a flask (empty of course ! ) as a joke into my son’s Christian school . When the principal would get a bit long winded I would open my purse and show my friends the flask as a joke! I don’t want to say the name of the speaker but if you PM I’ll tell you .

@kevinmcnulty73532 жыл бұрын
I was the interviewer. Your comments were insulting and uncalled for. You really don't deserve a response, but perhaps this response will make you to think twice before laying down rude comments: 1) this interview was not designed for the audience to hear my questions. It's original purpose was not designed as a conversation; 2) After she passed I decided to post on KZbin. Knowing that my voice was not so easy to hear, I did have enough good sense to post my questions as subtitles in BIG letters. Guess you missed that. 3) Check your hearing or maybe your volume is too low. Although, my voice is in the background, it's actually quite easy to hear if you have your volume up.
