Watched a video once and he said renting can be better than buying a house because renting is the maximum you’ll pay and buying / having a bond is a minimum you’ll pay (a lot of people don’t account for ghost costs)

Yeppp this is very true !! And a lot of property at the moment is overpriced but I’ve seen a lot of JHB houses start to drop so I’m waiting for it to drop even more / potentially spread to other parts of the country too 🤭.

Why is your notice the biggest?

In 2023 I was a bit anxious about keeping money “close” cause I could just request and have it after serving my notice period. But it’s still my ‘highest’ because I get quite a high interest rate on that - almost similar to my investments but it’s guaranteed so that’s a win for me.
