I just updated an address in iCloud days ago. I searched for the address today and it was not in the contact's profile. Any suggestions on a fix? For some background, I have had contacts disappear as well, I followed your guidance and hopefully that is resolved.

@@teachmomhow8000 It helped but something else is impacting contacts on my iPhone as well. I believe it something related to a couple things; 1. Gmail 2. company's change in policy on outlook contacts syncing to my iPhone. #2 created a mess that has taken months and months to untangle. Thank you for the video and follow up.

Thanks it solved my issue. I actually turned off default account under contacts accidentally don’t know when but now it’s fixed.

This fixed, my missing contact was created under Gmail. But I have no idea why that happened or why it was showing up yesterday and disappearing today. I will go back and delete that contact and reset it up but how do I make sure I am always setting up under iCloud and not some other account?

I added a gmail to the mail app for my gf, and in her iMessages all the names wer gone and it was just numbers. And contacts gone as well. Idk what to do and I’ve tried a lot of things and she’s pissed at me. Any suggestions

Happy to help if I can. Are you on an iPhone? can you clarify for me what is happening and I will try my best to help. I recommend following the steps I show then make a new contact and let me know if that new contact shows up or not.
