Thank you for saving my pocket! The up/down power button does work just make sure your phone is charged (even if it doesn’t show it charging on screen) for 30 mins then use the up/down method. Keep holding that power key until you see the apple logo. It feels like an eternity but keep holding.

Omg thank you! I woke up and I didn't know the time and I tried to turn my phone on but it wouldn't so I was freaking out that my phone completely died or something and I also have a lecture at 9 so I was also worried that I had slept in so I got my laptop out to check the time and realised that its 3am so I then wanted to go back to sleep and assume my phone would fix itself but I didn't want to leave it so I had to look up what's going on and how to fix it. I had to hold for like 20 sec, first method. I suggest holding for 30 sec before giving up, it works! Phone is at 1% and screen is on. IPhone 11

My iPhone 14 Pro recently started shutting down repeatedly. It would turn off and on by itself, and sometimes show a pink screen. I purchased it in December 2022 and have never dropped it or exposed it to water.
