Just in case this does not work for anyone else, because it did not work for me. I got so hopeful after reading all of the good comments in this video. Unfortunately it did not work for me, anyone who has a Honda Civic, press and hold the power button to reset it and then select yes that you want to reset. It worked for me. Genius! You solved a huge problem. I have a kickin stereo in my VW Beetle and I could hook up my phone via Bluetooth or usb and it played off my KZbin or Spotify.I have traded my Galaxy S22 for an I iPhone 14 and got into my car and realized I didn’t think that through too well and that now my expensive stereo is now worthless. I almost cried, that’s a lot of money I do got to throw around like that. You solved my problem man. So thank you very very much. Yea it’s a pain, because stuff like that is updated often. So support tends to be hard to find. Even now since we’re a few iOS updates newer this only works with certain vehicles now. I’m glad it worked for you, and I appreciate you watching and commenting!

Yea it’s annoying.. every time you plug up gotta hear that same song lol. Yea it’s varies from vehicle to vehicle. Some you can plug up and it just works. Other are a bit more complicated.

The music plays in my phone when connected to bluetooth in my car, however, it doesn’t play in the car. I can control my music using car buttons/sound etc but music only plays in my mobile. Hey Ravi, sorry for the late reply. I believe your vehicle uses CarPlay. I haven’t used it before. So troubleshooting is tricky. Try looking up some questions related to your issue with car play. If unpairing and re-pairing doesn’t work. It could be something buried in the settings.

It varies from vehicle to vehicle. In the car here I used a standard USB to lightning cable. The older one, before they started putting USB-C to lightning with the phones now. This car had a USB connector in the glove box. Other vehicles sometimes have a USB port somewhere either in the arm rest or somewhere near the radio.

My issue with Apple Car Play is that it only shows my "Recently Downloaded" folder. It will not show my entire Library. I have to go to the Library in my phone and select the music I want. I can't get there from my screen in my 2020 RAM truck. I just switched from the iPhone 10 to the 13 Pro Max and there is no change in the music issue. So that being said, it's not the phone as the dealership will tell you.

Sorry for the late reply. If you’re still dealing with this issue, do you use pandora? You may be able to use it as a base instead of Apple Music. Some infotainment systems tend to search for pandora.

You have to be subbed to Apple Music now to make it work. It may work with pandora. Try downloading it and making a free account.

In my vehicles glove compartment there is a female USB A connecter. If your vehicle has a connection it could be located elsewhere, like your middle compartment that you rest your arm on. Or the small compartment under your radio near the 12V socket that you plug your car charger into. I connected to that so I can change songs with the radios controls, while driving. AUX Is an option but you'll have to control your music from your device still. On your car there should be a button to change your radio to a different mode. It might say media or something similar. You need to change it to USB mode.

If you’re using an adapter to connect it to the iPhone, maybe try a new one. If you’re using the headphone jack from an older iPhone, could be an issue with the device.

Maybe, that will fix your problem. Things are Try doing a free trial on apple music if available and add a few songs to your library. If that's not an option, use itunes on your computer and add a song to your library.
