Shoto really lives up to being called the “hero of the family” here. And for as monstrous as Touya has become, I feel like it’s only fair for the family to be the ones to ultimately save him from getting himself killed completely. And it was just in the nick of time too, since Endeavor had already given up on him yet again. There’s a lot of complicated feelings happening here, and I honestly wasn’t expecting the whole family to end up on the battlefield, but hey, it’s finally time for Touya to get the attention he’s deserved all this time.

one of the saddest details is the fact that dabi awakened an ice quirk so endeavour always had his perfect child infront of him and he never gave him the chance to grow.

Bones have been cooking all season, but this episode? They LOCKED IN. This episode, Shoto vs Dabi, Bakugo's death, Gearshift, and Gentle's return have to be some of my favorite episodes in all of Shonen (in my opinion ofc).

Yutaka Nakamura, the person who made the Dimple a.k.a Ekubo fight scene in Mob Psycho 100 season 3 episode 6, Deku vs Shoto in Season 2 Episode 10, several episodes in One Punch Man Season 1,frieren beyond journey's end episode 6, the Lady Nagaan vs Deku fight, and all the My Hero Academia movies he was the one who created the final battle scene and now he creating lida scene

the whole Todoroki family has such a toll on me, the first time I cried in the whole anime was when Todoroki used great glacial aigir on Dabi a few episodes back this season, and now I cried again watching this one. I love that we didn't get a random "I love you" or anything like that from Dabi, he stayed consistent with his hate but deep down we got to see that he regrets not settling things earlier in a different way

Man it makes me sad how much I see My Hero get dumped on because of some of the zealous fans. It's a really good show that I think everyone should experience. Season 7 has eclipsed Seasons 2 and 3 as my favorite season. What more can I say? This show this season just keeps topping itself each episode whether in action or storytelling.

It's so tragic that Toya had Rei's ice quirk this whole time because he likely would've gone on to be a top hero and be fulfilled in life if Endeavor didn't treat him like a failure at best as a child. Not condoning his villainous actions, but still Toya has been through so much and I empathize with what he's been through in the past 😭😭

Endeavor is one of the best written characters in this show. And the whole Todoroki family. Like I absolutely despised Endeavor when he was introduced, and the show slowly showed us everything that went into why he was so despicable. Then made me conflicted as we saw his decisions were not solely based on just being this evil guy. He genuinely was worried about Toya hurting himself. But as everyone is human, he made wrong choices turning him into a monster to his family. He is a character that will never be forgiven, even by himself. Especially the complexity of Dabi/Toya's character added in here as well. Like I was the ignored kid in my family growing up, so it hurt me personally when Toya realizes all he wanted was just for his family to look at him. Not to ignore or brush him off, but just 'see' him. Like 1Million/10 for this episode.

I think after making Deku fast, they almost have to give Iida budget in the show to make him faster and I love it. Season Five he KO'd Mudman. Season Six he was the one to catch Deku. This season delivered Shoto to Dabi. Being a fan of speedsters, though he is underutilized because at those speeds, Idc who you are, you're getting accidented lol

Im not a fan of shoto being the one to stop toya.. It should of been the family, it would of been unexpected and more surprising than your typical anime plot.. It would of been shocking to see shoto pov of seeing family able to stop toya because they came together..
