This is a neat project idea I have had my stampede 4x4 for a year and is need of a rebuild and I may use the jconepts parts as well.

Its not a cheap rebuild, but definitely worth it!

Haven’t decided yet already modified it already. One upgrade will be need is the outer driveshafts I have broke a lot of them the major week point on this truck.

Does the conversion kit worth it? Ive seen people put firestorm tires on the pede 4x4 without that conversion kit...

It all depends on how much you want to spend & the setup. Since they do it to theirs, either pede or slash, I went with it. How low does the body sit to the tires without the kit?

MonsterTruckClassics they use body lift, so not low at all, and I tried the proline destroyer tires which is same size like jconcepts firestorm on my 2wd Bigfoot, it rly didnt show low tho. Planning to get the 4x4 pede recently, wondering if the kit would help more.

There's a great video by Jconcepts on here that I watched over and over while doing the conversion. He was taking apart a Slash 4x4, but the setup is about the same for the 4x4 pede. Maybe you wanna look at that video before deciding to do the conversion.

Another thing to consider is if you are just going to bash your stampede, maybe you don't need to put an extra $100 into it. Mine does pretty well bashing. The bigger wheels help out over different obstacles. Or if you are a racer, than you can be in a different class with the pede with the firestorm tires.

It comes with the JConcepts conversion set. I don’t know if you can run this setup with the stock ones.
