I am not sure i understand why people change their engagement ring, I believed it was a gift from a husband to ask for your hand in marriage, is changing it a few years later actually a thing ?

Ring upgrades are absolutely a thing. There are some couples that pick out a ring knowing they will upgrade it in 5 years or so.

Many people do and many people don't. It's done for a plethora of reasons. Sometimes when starting out, money is tight so the desired ring is not within the budget, so some couples opt for an upgrade. Some choose to upgrade after a certain amount of years and some upgrade because they feel like it. I feel that if both partners are in agreement with an upgrade, there's absolutely nothing wrong with it.

I’ve had 3 different engagement rings just upgraded over the years and just keep the original ones as keep sakes , I know lots of ladies that do it !

I agree! My engagement ring is quite small and my husband has asked if I’d like a new bigger one - our financial situation has changed dramatically in our 14 years of marriage. I told him no, it has to much sentimental value.

All Monica Vinader jewerly I ever bought oxidized and I dont live in a particular humid climate. All kept in an original packaging with anti-oxidizing paper inside. In addition, I have received already oxidized Vinader jewelry.

I was shocked how good the service is. I had a skinny diamond bar bracelet that had bent a little and went in to store near the Kings Road to ask about a repair, they quite literally undid it and put a brand new one on my arm and sent me on my way! No charge, no questions!

No other reason other than I wanted to! :) I did the switch earlier in the year for our 5 year wedding anniversary/ 10 years together though. And nope, I kept my old ring so I'm just storing it somewhere safe. No plans for it atm but I thought there's a chance that Leo might want it one day :)

Hi Amie! I also have the monica vinader single diamond bracelet. I noticed when I wear it though, the stone tends to want to flip towards the inside of my wrist or that it moves to the other side of my wrist. I went for the gold - it's a paler yellow than a lot of other golds out there but I love it. More like a champagne gold than a super yellow gold - very wearable and flattering IMO ❤️
