This is my favorite performance of this series, by far, so far.

I've been looking the whole docu. and JJ Cale was also for me the reason to learn to play the Guitar. The first album I had was Troubadour and it bows my head of, if you notice that I was a fan from Mark Farner from Grandfunk Railroad. Now I've heard the album Stay Around and I'm very pleased that this work from JJ Cale is out. Beautiful record.

JJ Cale is my favorite musician, and if I spoke French, I would probably say exactly the same things that Mr. Lawrence is saying! Great overview and explication of what JJ Cale is. And Mr. Lawrence is a worthy beneficiary of Cale's style. He's pretty good!

Theo- we call J.J's style the "Tulsa Sound." We geographically and culturally lie at the intersection of all the "little bits" you mentioned. Tulsa is a little bit of this and a little bit of that, but mostly it's a whole lot of all of it.
