The top piece of advice I can give is that if someone who knows what they're talking about recommends something, do it. If you don't, it might not be today. It might not be tomorrow, but usually, it comes back to bite you on the bum. Until the point you know which rules are flexible and which ones are best practices, follow the advice.

Cheers, Jeff! I am really enjoying these projects currently. I think the shrimp and rainbows will give me the opportunity to do some different styles of planted tanks. With the shrimp, I can do a more refrained style of planted aquarium

@bigfishlad4847 it is. I've kind of been lost since moving house and ending up with a much smaller fishroom. My old house I had my Frontosa for years and Discus, so it's been a challenge finding things that will work with the downsize. I've been doing a lot of talking with shrimp keepers lately, and I really want to get into them a little more now.

Heck yeah Keith, I love shrimp! If I wanted to breed truly for profit shrimp are what I would do. From going to shows local to me 10 shrimp can go from anywhere between $20-$40 US dollars depending on the color

Hey mate! I do see shrimp at local auctions, so it would definitely be a good source of income. The crazy thing is that there isn't much of a shrimp hobby in the UK above the basic cherry shrimp. The US is miles ahead with the shrimp hobby.

I love the green with the yellow back Keith, fingers crossed for that, I was getting lots of grey/black with a dull yellow back throwing out with those yellows your red are stunning They’ve thrown the exoskeleton all ready 👍👍

Mine don't seem to have the yellow stripes, but apparently, they will throw them. If not, I'll figure a way of getting the line in there. I've still got loads to learn. Once I've got some sorted, I'll get some over to you. I do really like my red strain. They seem quite a high grade. I have had them throw a few wilds, and even they seem to colour up eventually. I can't believe how bright the gold band is on the yellows you sent me. They're fantastic, mate!

I think the shrimp Mal shipped you are excellent... And dispute what he said I think he did a good job packing Exactly no rush.. better get them in safe then plop and take your chances

Yeah, I thought Mal did a cracking job shipping them, and the shrimp he shipped me were absolutely stunning. It was a great experience swapping with him as I learned loads from it. It gave me a lot more confidence and hope it did with him, too.

Brilliant video mate I would definitely drip them in and I no nothing but I do no I have moved them quickly they die I drip them there fine

Yeah, I'm trying to do everything by the book. I've always found that if you do everything by the book, you have more success in the long run
