Some things for those wondering: (editing as i progress through the video) The King Slime can spawn randomly, and as stated on the wiki: Rarely in the outer lateral sixths of the map, during daytime, and only on grass, replacing a normal Slime's spawning. Skeletron will shoot skulls when either, a hand is dead or he drops below 75% health Turtle Armour's "Attackers take double damage" is a thorns effect. Attackers take 200% of their Contact Damage as thorns The Four Old Ones Army staffs can be changed between each other in the shimmer. Ballista Staff turns into the Flameburst Staff Flameburst Staff turns into the Lightning Aura Staff Lightning Aura Staff turns into the Explosive Trap Staff Explosive Trap Staff turns into the Ballista Staff The Relics in the moon events have a 20 - 100% chance of dropping depending on wave count, with wave 14 being the time when relics have a 100% chance to drop The Dryad's plant shop changes every two moon phases, 1 and 2 give potted Cedars 3 and 4 give potted Trees 5 and 6 give potted Palms 7 and 8 give potted Bamboo Martian Probes have a higher chance of spawning in space, and this can be increased by effects such as a water candle or battle potion. Solar eclipses and blood moons also increase the spawn chance. Also only one probe can spawn.

cool fact: prior to the slime rain being added in 1.3, this was the only way to get a natural king slime spawn. Setting up with a water candle and battle potion and just, Waiting.

I have a massive pro tip for the vortex pillar from an ex-speedrunner. Unless they've changed how it works, you can just dig about 5-7 blocks down and place one block at the top of your hole to keep enemies out. Just shoot up and they can't hit you back

The flower boots used to be one of the best finds you could get in a jungle chest since it made a nigh afk bait farm for fishing, but they nerfed that so flower grass doesn't drop bait, and now it's exclusively cosmetic. It's quite a shame.

The lesson I learned from watching this video, that the most valuable skill you can get for Terraria HC MM is always, *ALWAYS* having recall potion on closest to WASD slot and relearn my hotkeys instead of my usual 1melee 2pickaxe 3torch 4ranged 5blocks 6rope 7-9something else 0recall potion. I swear, most of my deaths were caused by that extra action of scrolling up after "1" for TP'ing out. SMH TY sir. Also, great video.

I did a melee playthrough and I found that with multiple targets, the nights edge actually has less dps than the dark lance, I found myself using the dark lance more than the nights edge especially for close quarters. Might just be me but I thought it was neat because I never liked the dark lance before.

1:57:00 the 2nd tier old ones army is triggered after defeating 1 mech not all of them. On my summoner run I defeated the twins then defeated the old ones army and the better sentries really helped with skeleton prime. I think it's supposed to be like the weapons you can make from the various souls, you defeat one mech that is easiest for you then get better weapons/armour for the other mechs Helpful for me as I tend to struggle with the mech bosses

It's a little cheesy, but you can throw crafted weapons and accessories into shimmer and then re-craft them as an alternative to reforging. Anything to stop flushing money down the drain with the goblin!

The missing relics are probably from items despawning due to the iirc 200 simultaneous item limit. The oldest items despawn to make room for the newer ones.

The Starlight CARRIED ME through moon lords core. It is the perfect size to hit the core whilst running in a straight line without moving vertically.
