litterlay i relate to you so much you don't even understand lol, I can't wait to watch your journey and see how your hair flourishes ! I have the same issues with my hair not lasting when I would do twist outs and braid outs and I had never cut my hair because my mom doesn't want me to but I wanted something different and I was SO SO SO tired of wigs and braids and sisterlocks just seemed so beautiful to me so I locked my hair !

My hair struggles with split end too. I always get to a certain length then hack them off a few inches. Im getting my sisterlocks for the same reason. To be a true lazy natural. Get up and go! Your locks are beautiful!

Love your hair. I'm 80% ready to get sisterlocks/microlocks but still on the fence as to which method I should use to start? Can you say which method you chose fo r your starter locks? I love how yours look and would like to be able to tell my loctician so I can achieve a similar look. I know that I don't want medium or big but not super tiny! Hope you can share what your initial process was and any tips would be helpful. Subbed and binge watching your videos.

How long are they supposed to last ?

Oshime Gbafe They’ll last as long as you have them for, but depending on your hair you have to retightening every 5-8 weeks!
