MY JOURNEY TO THE INTERNATIONAL PATHFINDER CAMPOREE IN GILLETTE, WYOMING | 60K STRONG

Come with me as I continue my journey to the International Pathfinder Camporee in Gillette, WY.
Let me introduce myself, my name is Riley Madison. I live in Michigan but my family and I pastor a church in Chicago. We are passionate about serving others and helping those in need. Our lives took a turn when my father was in a bad car accident in December, 2022. He still has a lot of challenges but praise God he’s still here with us.
We have been video blogging since I was about three years old. My mom decided to start vlogging after our computer and external hard drives were stolen. When the thieves took those items, they also took every video and picture my parents ever took of me up until I was three years old. As you can imagine, this was devastating for them. My mom said she must of had 2,000 pictures just from being in the hospital after giving birth to me.
Til’ this day, she makes sure that I never forget any of my milestones by recording EVERYTHING! lol I’m an only child and love to explore. We travelled a lot more before my dad’s accident and I was homeschooled. We even lived in Australia for a few years. We are a lot more settled now, but again, we are just glad that God spared my father’s life in his accident.
This week my family is taking a journey to Gillette, Wyoming where some 60,000 young Christian’s are gathering for the International Pathfinder Camporee in Gillette, WY. Pathfinders from all around the world are coming together to have a good time in the name of Jesus.
I can’t wait to get there. This is going to be my first time going to one of these camporee’s because they only take place every 5 years. Incase you don’t know what “Pathfinders” are it’s a Seventh-Day Adventist Mentoring program for young people. We pledge to be a servant of God and a friend to man. Everywhere we go, we do our best to leave it in a better condition then when we came.
This International Pathfinder Camporee is being held in Gillette for the first time in its history. I plan to do daily video blogs for those of you who couldn’t make it. Of course I’m recording to have lasting memories, but I also want to share my experience with each of you.

Hey Riley, thanks for sharing your journey to this years international pathfinder camporee with the world! I’ve got family that’s already there too, they come from the Hendersonville, NC Spanish Seventh-Day Adventist Church. If you happen to see them give them a hug for me! I have an aunt named Angelica there, her husband Jairo, her daughter Andrea there. Their daughter’s husband Carlos, a nephew by the name of Axel Adrian. I’m a pathfinder from Tennessee to it is my 3rd international pathfinder camporee hoping you made it safe from the storm we are currently sitting in our van waiting for it to pass luckily it is about over, it hasn’t been the best start between the past couple days but it will still be a fun camporee hoping you guys are having an amazing camporee it would be so cool if I met you here❤

Lady, of my own heart. Girl I'm a clean freak especially when it comes to staying at a hotel. I have the wipes, slippers, socks the list goes on… I was crying 😂 when you asked if they had a murder from those stains on the door OMG 😱😅Anyhow, thanks for sharing your off to Gillette adventure. Looked like the deer was inquiring how you got in his neck of the woods or side of the road😄😄🤣🤣….Okayyyy on another note the hotel is definitely overpriced and welp, at least you’re just to sleep and go about the day to enjoy Camporee 2024… Enjoy🥳😍🌈💖🙏🏽💙🙌🏽

We are doing just fine in the hotel. After being on the campground all day it’s a treat when we get back. Lol very dusty out here. I’m so glad you watched and commented. I appreciate you very much! That rainbow was EPIC! It’s the second one I’ve seen in Wyoming.
